On the occasion of 8th May “World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day”, Chairman of Pakistan Red Crescent Balochistan Branch, Sardar Abdul Wali Khan Ghabizai, in his special message said that serving humanity, helping the distressed, and promoting welfare activities without discrimination is the core mission of the Red Crescent.
He said that World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day gives us the message to further strengthen the spirit of humanitarianism, brotherhood, peace, and service to mankind. Pakistan Red Crescent Balochistan Branch is rendering its services in every difficult time to assist affected families, patients, victims of natural disasters, and underprivileged segments of society.
Sardar Abdul Wali Khan Ghabizai stated that volunteers are a valuable asset to any society, who serve humanity selflessly without any personal interest. Paying tribute to the services of all Red Crescent volunteers, workers, and partner organizations, he said that their tireless efforts and spirit of service are commendable and a source of pride.
He appealed to the public to actively participate in humanitarian service, mutual cooperation, and welfare activities so that a safe, healthy, and compassionate society can be built.
In the end, while paying tribute to the principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement — Humanity, Impartiality, Voluntary Service, and Unity — he reaffirmed the commitment that Pakistan Red Crescent Balochistan Branch will continue its journey of serving humanity with full dedication in the future as well.
