It's been a while, but we are really grateful to the management team of Institute for Development Studies and Practices (IDSP) at Hunna Urak that hosted our Cohorts 1 and 2 of the community fellowship. The visit was a great experience and exposure for boys and girls.
The IDSP does not have water, gas, roads, or electricity.
So how do they function?
The fellows learned about centuries-old wisdom and knowledge of livestock management, Indoor and outdoor vegetable growing systems, electricity through wind energy, and biogas preservation and its use to cook food. We believe IDSP is the best example of a true institution that has grown through community engagement and knowledge sharing.
