Al-Hijrah Alumni Cabinet Meeting Report

A meeting of the Al-Hijrah Alumni Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of President Advocate Muhammad Irfan. The meeting was attended by General Secretary Ghulam Hussain, Vice President Zahid Hussain, Finance Secretary Muhammad Arif, Information Secretary Mudassir Ahmed, Medical Camp Coordinator Dr. Shehzad Atta, Web Designer Rab Nawaz and Office Coordinator Kaleem Ullah.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the organization’s ongoing and upcoming welfare, educational, and social initiatives.

The agenda included *Free medical camps, the Eid-ul-Adha Qurbani Project 2026, the publication of Al-Khalidoon Magazine and the Annual Year Book, the arrangement of educational seminars, and matters related to the Benevolent Fund.*

All participants actively shared valuable suggestions and recommendations to further improve the effectiveness and impact of the organization’s activities. Emphasis was placed on better planning, teamwork, and efficient coordination to ensure the successful implementation of all projects.

Furthermore, members were assigned specific responsibilities for different projects and activities to strengthen organizational management and ensure timely ex*****on of tasks.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by the cabinet members to continue serving society through welfare, educational, and community development initiatives with dedication and professionalism.

The study circle commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran from Surah Al-Ikhlas.
* Br. Ilyas delivered an in-depth Tafseer of the Surah.
* Br. A.R. Usmani further highlighted the core theological and practical dimensions of the verses for the attendees.
2. Hadith Discourses
Br. M. Javid presented a Hadith focusing on the essential role of a good Muslim in society. The topic sparked an engaging debate and discussion, with detailed insights contributed by Dr. Anees and other participating members on how to implement these prophetic teachings in contemporary civic life.
3. Keynote Presentation: Tolerance vs. Intolerance
Dr. Anees delivered the main presentation of the day, titled "معاشرے میں برداشت اور عدم برادشت" (Tolerance and Intolerance in Society).
* Br. A.R. Usmani added valuable commentary to expand on the theme.
* Special Recognition: The zonal members highly applauded Dr. Anees for his recent expert role representing the perspective on the US-Iran dialogue/debate held in Islamabad, Pakistan.
4. Current Affairs Overview
The fourth segment was dedicated to an open review of current political and social affairs, allowing members to analyze recent local and global developments.
5. Tribute and Institutional Acknowledgments

The forum collectively paid a rich tribute to the *Founding Chairman of Al-Hijrah, Muhammad Abdul Karim Saqib, on being conferred the prestigious Sitara-i-Imtiaz by the President of Pakistan.*

* Resolution: The members unanimously decided to draft and release a formal statement expressing deep gratitude to all the long-standing friends, well-wishers, and supporters of Al-Hijrah who have stood by the trust since its inception.

Conclusion
The study circle concluded with a renewed and firm determination among all members to organize and maintain regular sessions of this nature moving forward.

The Founder Chairman of Al-Hijrah Trust, Muhammad Abdul Karim Saqib, has been honored with the prestigious Sitara-i-Imtiaz in recognition of his outstanding services.

The conferment of the “Sitara-i-Imtiaz” upon Muhammad Abdul Karim Saqib, Founder Chairman of Al-Hijrah Schools Trust, by the Government of Pakistan is not only a recognition of his personal contributions, but also a profound acknowledgment of his more than two decades of dedicated efforts toward securing a brighter future for the talented yet underprivileged children of Balochistan.

Through his vision, sincerity, and unwavering commitment, Abdul Karim Saqib has provided hundreds of deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with access to free quality education, excellent residential facilities, character building, vocational skills, and responsible grooming. Today, graduates of Al-Hijrah are serving in various fields of life as exemplary individuals known for their integrity, leadership, and service to society.

• Hadith on the reward and virtues of Hajj (Bukhari 1773) was presented by *Brother Marvez Khan*.
• *Brother N. A. Kaukab* shared the historical background of Hajj, including Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and Hazrat Ismail (A.S), the construction of the Kaaba, the origin of Sa’i, Zamzam, and Qurbani, and the revival of Hajj by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
• *Brother Muhammad Ishaque* discussed the lessons of Hajj in modern life, highlighting discipline, equality, sacrifice, patience, and the unity of Muslims.
• A joint discussion was held on the similarities within Pakistani cultures, followed by an engaging and thoughtful discussion between *Dr. Anees Jahangir* and *Dr. Shafqat Naeem Akhtar* on social and educational perspectives.
• During the session, *Dr. Anees Jahangir* invited *Dr. Shafqat Naeem Akhtar* to visit Al-Hijrah Residential School & College and share his valuable 32 years of experience in the field of education with Al-Hijrians. The invitation was graciously accepted by *Dr. Shafqat Naeem Akhtar*.

الہجرہ المنائی پاکستان کی کابینہ کا اہم اجلاس گزشتہ روز کوئٹہ آفس میں منعقد ہوا، جس میں تنظیم کے عہدیداران نے شرکت کی۔ اجلاس میں ایڈوکیٹ محمد عرفان، جنرل سیکرٹری غلام حسین، برادر کلیم اللہ، ڈاکٹر شہزاد عطاء اور برادر شفیق احمد نے شرکت کی۔
اجلاس کے دوران تنظیمی امور اور مستقبل کی حکمتِ عملی پر تفصیلی غور و خوض کیا گیا۔ مختلف اہم معاملات پر مشاورت کے بعد متفقہ فیصلے بھی کیے گئے۔
اجلاس کے اختتام پر الہجرہ المنائی پاکستان کی جانب سے رضاکارانہ سرگرمیوں، میڈیکل کیمپس، قربانی پروجیکٹ اور دیگر فلاحی پروگرامز کے لیے تیار کردہ خصوصی شرٹس پیش کی گئیں، جنہیں کابینہ نے باقاعدہ منظوری دے دی۔

A cabinet meeting of Al-Hijrah Alumni Pakistan was held at the Quetta office. The meeting was presided over by President AAP, Br Adv. Muhammad Irfan.

The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

The participants of the meeting included Br. Ghulam Hussain (General Secretary), Br. M. Arif (Finance Secretary), and Br. Imran Ullah (Vice President).
