HAP believes that education is the only medium that can bring sustainable change in the lives of poor people. HAP puts emphasis on the establishment of schools and education centers for the poor and orphan children where quality of education is ensured. 10 Community Schools of Shah norani District Khuzdar was esstablished in 2007 and more then 745 out of school children were enrolled. HAP disseminated awareness messages on hygiene in 519 government schools. HAP provided training on Child- to-Child hygiene education to 300 primary and secondary school teachers. Nutritional supplements and hygiene kits were distributed to the women and children in Baluchistan. HAP is currently driving a campaign to promote maternal health in the remote areas of Balochistan. A campaign on awareness about Hepatitis and HIV/AIDS was carried out in the District Jaffarabad that provided free blood screening for the poor laborers.
