We were honoured to welcome Mr. Sanaullah Baloch, Former Senator, Member National Assembly, and Former Member Provincial Assembly (MPA), Balochistan, to the Organization for Community Services & Development (OCSD) Head Office.

During the visit, Mr. Irfan Alamgir Khan, CEO OCSD, presented an overview of the organization's journey since its establishment in 2004, highlighting its key achievements, ongoing development projects, and the newly established OCSD Technical & Vocational Training Institute (TVTI), along with its current and upcoming training programmes and collaborations with NAVTTC and other partners.

Mr. Sanaullah Baloch also visited the institute, appreciated OCSD's efforts in community development and youth empowerment, and expressed his support for initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of Balochistan.

Through the PPAF-funded RSSCR Project, OCSD has introduced a pioneering “Livestock Bank” in UC Kan Mehtarzai, District Killa Saifullah, aimed at supporting vulnerable households through a self-sustaining livelihood approach.

By passing livestock offspring to new beneficiaries, the model ensures that one investment continues creating opportunities for many families over time.

OCSD acknowledges and appreciates the continued support of PPAF in promoting innovative, community-driven solutions that strengthen livelihoods, empower women, and build climate-resilient communities.

District Immunization Communication Committee (DICC) Meeting Organised by OCSD at Mekhtar – June 2026

A District Immunization Communication Committee (DICC) meeting was held at Mekhtar under the chairmanship of Dr. Maqbool Sahib (DHO Loralai).

The meeting was attended by Dr. Shah Zaman (DDHO), Mr. Akhtar Muhammad (M&E-PPHI), Mr. Mahmood Khan (Provincial M&E, OCSD), Mr. Hashim Kabzai (CCO Representative), Mr. Inayatullah (Principal, BGHS Mekhtar), Mr. Mahmood Khan (Assistant Director), Mr. Muhammad Ahmad, along with respected religious leaders and community representatives from Tehsil Mekhtar.

During the meeting, Dr. Shah Zaman (DDHO) briefed participants on the progress of Routine Immunization (RI) activities in the district. Mr. Mahmood Khan (Provincial M&E, OCSD) presented updates on service delivery, community awareness sessions conducted at UC level, and the achievements of OCSD in supporting immunization services.

Mr. Hashim Kabzai (CCO Representative) shared updates on polio eradication efforts and ongoing polio activities across the district. Mr. Inayatullah Sahib appreciated the dedicated efforts of OCSD and the Health Department in improving immunization services.

All participants acknowledged and appreciated the commitment and hard work of EPI, Health Department, and OCSD staff in strengthening immunization coverage and protecting children from vaccine-preventable diseases.

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Maqbool Sahib (DHO Loralai) highlighted the valuable services being provided by the Health Department and OCSD at the district level. He thanked all participants for their active involvement and appreciated the contributions of partner organizations in improving immunization coverage throughout the district.

Bi-Annual Advocacy Seminar | Loralai Municipal Committee Hall

OCSD organized a Bi-Annual EPI Advocacy Seminar at Loralai Municipal Committee Hall, bringing together a diverse gathering of political leaders, tribal elders, religious scholars, women representatives, social activists, OCSD Social Mobilizers, and community members from all walks of life.

Key highlights from the seminar:

Deputy DHO Dr. Shah Zaman Hamzazai : emphasized that EPI vaccines protect children from 12 vaccine-preventable diseases and urged all parents to ensure timely vaccination of their children.

EPI Monitoring and Evolution Officer Rafiullah Shah : presented district-level EPI data, noting that 28% of children in Loralai remain unvaccinated with the majority being zero-dose children unaware of the benefits of immunization.

Provincial M&E Officer Mahmood Khan Nasir (OCSD) : highlighted that OCSD staff is actively working across 13 Union Councils of District Loralai, delivering EPI & HPV vaccine awareness through service delivery, demand generation, and community mobilization.

Ex-Chairman Municipal Committee Naimat Jalalzai : appreciated OCSD's contributions and affirmed political support for EPI and vaccination services being provided through fixed sites, outreach, and mobile teams.

Maulvi Huzrat Shah : pledged that religious scholars will deliver vaccination awareness messages in Friday sermons, urging parents to complete the full vaccine course for children under 5.

Malik Abdur Rahim Kadzai : shared that the HPV vaccination campaign protecting against dangerous cervical cancer is set to officially launch in 2027 by the Government of Balochistan.

Together, we are working toward a healthier, vaccine protected future for every child in Loralai.

World Environment Day 2026
Inauguration of Water Supply Scheme at VO Asozai Talari, UC Kan Mehtarzai, District Killa Saifullah

OCSD, in partnership with PPAF, inaugurated a Water Supply Scheme at VO Asozai Talari under the RSSCR Project. The inauguration was performed by Haji Atta ur Rahman, Tribal Leader, in the presence of community members, local elders, and representatives of relevant line departments.

During the event, participants highlighted the importance of access to clean drinking water as a basic right and appreciated the continued support of PPAF and OCSD in improving community wellbeing and resilience.

The occasion also featured;
1. Community awareness session with the SBDRMC at Government Boys High School (GBHS) Kan Mehtarzai on safe drinking water, community resilience, and project sustainability
2. Livestock vaccination camp conducted by OCSD in collaboration with the Livestock Department, benefiting over 300 animals belonging to local livestock owners.

At the conclusion of the event, commemorative shields were presented to distinguished guests and stakeholders, followed by refreshments for participants.
