Baluchistan Youth Jirga
in collaboration with CDA organized an awareness seminar regarding Gender Mainstreaming in Climate Action on August 19th in Quetta.

Participants from different walks of life participated in the session.

During the session, Chairman Baluchistan Youth Jirga Mr. Khursheed Ahmed Kakar and other keynote speakers shed light on the importance of Gender Mainstreaming in Climate Action.

On the completion of event, certificates of participation were also distributed amongst the participants.

Young leaders also explored the rich culture of walled city of and celebrated the values of equality, inclusion, diversity and national integrity .

Chairman Baluchistan Youth Jirga Mr. Khursheed Ahmed Kakar participated in Salamti Fellowship Program Cohort XII conducted by Shahoor Foundation as a peace agent.
The fellowship aimed to create awareness to combat religious and political extremism, foster harmony within and between different sects, and strengthen cooperation between religious groups/ institutions in order to promote sustainable social peace.

We are delighted to announce Adv Khursheed Ahmed Kakar Chairman Baluchistan Youth Jirga and Senior Vice President of IYW Baluchistan for Community Recognition Awards 2023.
Let us introduce you to Khursheed Kakar, a young politician, lawyer, alumni of YWB and social media influencer, who hails from Pishin Barshore. He holds the degree of LLB from University Law College Quetta and Masters in IR from UoB. He is deeply committed to create positive impact in society. Through his organization, he initiated range of programs aiming to empower the youth and address the issues of youth. Moreover, he had represented youth of Baluchistan in national youth dialogue conducted by UNDP in Islamabad, participated in Youth Workshop Baluchistan as a young politician and participated in range of youth conferences as panelist.
He has also held several leadership roles in past as President of Markhor Youth Forum, Secretary General of NISA MUN, Secretary General of RRT Quetta & Spokesperson of Insaf Students Federation, Baluchistan.
In recognition of his exceptional efforts, he has been rewarded with several awards, shields and certifications for his relentless efforts
