IDO in collaboration with School Education Department GoB and with financial support of UNICEF started the Project for capacity building of all concerned actors of School Education Department GoB on the "Balochistan Education Clustering Framework 2025", introduced under the reforms agenda for decentralized education governance. At the onset of the Project, a 3-Day "Training of Trainers Workshop" was successfully conducted at Bureau of Curriculum & Extension Centre (BOCEC), Quetta. 16 master trainers and 16 co-trainers from within the SED GoB were trained for rollout training program in all 36 districts of Balochistan. Pilot testing of training curriculum developed by IDO with extensive support and guidance from Directorate of School and ESP was demonstrated with a live group of 20 cluster heads in this ToT workshop.
The Special Secretary Mr Salam Achakzai addressed participants as Chief Guest in the closing ceremony and distributed course completion certificates among trainers & cluster heads. He also presented honorary shields to Mr Akhtar Muhammad Kehtran Director of School, Mr Munir Ahmed Nodezai, Director of School (Monitoring)and Ms Fauzia Shaheen Lead Trainer IDO.
In the end Director of Schools presented the "Shield of Honor" to the Chief Guest.
The training teams, trained in ToT workshop will start rollout training program in all 36 districts by next Monday to train 1600 cluster heads and DEOs.

October 29, 2025 – With support from Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) under the RSS & CR Project, the Innovative Development Organization (IDO) organized a free medical camp Killi Muhammad Hassani-UC Panjpai, extending critical healthcare services to 237 marginalized individuals, including women, children, and the elderly.
The camp provided comprehensive medical check-ups and free medicines to a marginalized community with no nearby health center or Basic Health Unit (BHU). By identifying underlying health conditions at an early stage, the initiative offered a vital lifeline to residents with limited access to healthcare. This intervention stands as a strong example of community-centered healthcare, bringing essential medical services directly to underserved populations.
The camp not only addressed pressing health concerns but also played a vital role in raising health awareness and strengthening community resilience. The high turnout and positive response from the community reaffirm the significance of such efforts in narrowing the healthcare access gap.
Beyond providing immediate relief, the camp empowered individuals with knowledge for healthier living—contributing to long-term well-being and fostering a culture of preventive care.
This initiative underscores the transformative power of accessible healthcare and the need for continuous, inclusive efforts to ensure that no one is left behind.

Visit of Secretary Culture, Tourism & Archives Department to IDO Display Center

Mr. Sohail ur Rehman, Secretary Culture, Tourism & Archives Department, Government of Balochistan, visited the IDO Display Center. He was accompanied by Mr. Dawood Khan, Director Culture; Mr. Jamil Baloch, Director Archives; Mr. Anjum Bashir, Section Officer, Culture Department; and Mr. Attaullah Kakar.

The Chief Executive Officer of IDO briefed the delegation on the productive development cycle carried out through The Hunnermand platform, which currently engages over four thousand artisans producing a diverse range of cultural crafts.

Mr. Sohail highly appreciated the craftsmanship of the artisans and commended IDO’s role in providing a sustainable platform for the promotion and marketability of these products at the national level.

Innovative Development Organization (IDO), with the support of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), organized a Defence Day event at the Urban Cohesion Hub, Quetta, on September 23, 2025.
The event was graced by Ms. Palwasha Khan, Principal of Core Educational System School, who highlighted that Defence Day is a reminder of the bravery and sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for the defense of our homeland. She also appreciated the enthusiasm and talent displayed by the students.

September 21, 2025 – In collaboration with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) and Transparent Hands under the RSSCR Project, the Innovative Development Organization (IDO) organized a free medical camp at the Basic Health Unit (BHU) UC Panjpai-Kili Muhammad Khail, extending critical healthcare services to 579 marginalized individuals, including women, children, and the elderly.

The camp provided comprehensive medical check-ups, free medicines, and essential diagnostic tests, including blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar analysis, uric acid testing, and hepatitis B and C screenings. By identifying underlying health conditions at an early stage, the initiative offered a vital lifeline to a community with limited access to healthcare.
In addition to medical services, a team of healthcare professionals from Transparent Hands conducted an informative health advisory session, equipping beneficiaries with knowledge on disease prevention, hygiene, and long-term health management.
This initiative reaffirms PPAF and IDO’s commitment to bridging healthcare gaps and enhancing the well-being of vulnerable populations across underserved regions.
