ion is ARPD’s Empowerment Center, located in Peshawar, Pakistan, a holistic facility committed to inclusivity and empowerment. With comprehensive rehabilitation services, inpatient care, treatment rooms, speech therapy, an orthopedic workshop, inclusive schooling, and vocational training, we are transforming lives. Our mission is to break down barriers and nurture potential, creating a brighter, more inclusive world. Our commitment to social justice extends to our Professional Development/Vocational Training Program, with a special emphasis on women’s empowerment. Through skills development in tailoring, jewelry crafting, beautician training, and digital literacy, we equip women with the means to secure meaningful employment and become valued contributors to society. Education is a fundamental right, and at ARPD, we uphold this principle through our Inclusive School System. We welcome children with disabilities and provide quality education to all, regardless of caste, creed, religion, gender, or financial background. This approach promotes diversity, tolerance, and equal opportunity, nurturing an environment where every child can flourish. In times of crisis, our Disaster Relief Program swiftly steps in, delivering essential aid, including food, clean water, shelter, and medical care, to affected areas. 🕊️ ARPD Hosted a Workshop on Peace Education and Climate Resilience 🌍💚

On 09 June 2026, ARPD Center welcomed facilitators Zohra Iqbal (Coordinator O'Level, Qadims School of Leadership) and Rubina Mushtaq (Senior Cambridge Teacher, Qadims School of Leadership) to conduct a transformative workshop with nearly 60 of our students and teachers. Under the theme "Empowering Young Peace Builders and Climate Leaders," participants engaged with three critical pillars: peace education and dialogue, climate resilience and sustainability, and women empowerment and leadership.

💪🏽 Our young learners discovered their potential as agents of change — not only for their own communities, but for a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world. These sessions sparked hope, sparked conversation, and sparked action. At ARPD, we believe every young person, regardless of ability or circumstance, deserves the space to discover their gifts and lead with dignity.

ARPD Teachers Completed Intensive Workshop on Inclusive Education Methodologies👨🏫📚✨

Over four days in May (16, 18, 19, and 23), all 15 teachers of ARPD Inclusive School System participated in a professional development workshop on inclusive education. 🎓 The teachers came mentally present, fully engaged, exploring what it truly means to teach children with diverse needs — from understanding disability through a social model lens, to designing lessons where every child can learn and belong.

🌟 Principal Shagufta Bibi led the workshop, sharing her expertise in building classrooms where inclusion is not just a concept, but a lived reality. She guided our teachers through the core competencies: how to differentiate instruction, plan with diverse learners in mind, address bullying immediately, and support every child with dignity and high expectations.

📝 At the closing, each teacher signed the Inclusive Education Methodologies Packet — not as a formality, but as a genuine commitment. That signature means: I understand what inclusive education requires. I am ready to practice it.This is now the professional standard at ARPD Inclusive School System. 💪🏽

When our teachers return to their classrooms, children will feel the difference. The isolated child will be truly included. The struggling child will receive adapted support. Every child will experience a classroom designed for them to belong. 🎯

ARPD Holds Free Ultrasound Camp at Peshawar Rehabilitation Center 🩺🤍✨

🏥 At ARPD, our commitment to accessible healthcare goes beyond our core rehabilitation services. Recently, we organized a free one-day Ultrasound Camp right here at our Peshawar center — bringing diagnostic imaging to patients and community members who need it most.

📡 Ultrasound diagnostics are often out of reach for marginalized communities due to cost barriers. Through this camp, we were able to offer free-of-cost ultrasound services 💚 directly at our facility — removing one more obstacle standing between underserved individuals and the care they deserve.

🌟 A heartfelt thank you to Miss Kashmala, our volunteer Ultrasound Technologist, whose expertise and generous spirit made this camp possible. We are grateful for professionals who give their time to serve those who need it most. 🤲

Approximately 140 individuals 👥 from the local community received professional care — completely free of cost 💚.

We were honored to welcome a delegation from Association for Aid and Relief Japan (AAR Japan) — a leading international humanitarian organization — to our center at Umeedabad, Peshawar.

🏥 The delegation toured ARPD's Rehabilitation Department, Orthopedic Workshop, and Skill Development Center — gaining firsthand insight into the free of cost 💚 rehabilitation, mobility aids, and vocational training we provide to persons with disabilities and marginalized communities.
