Horizon, Ibadat Hospital Peshawar, and Community Volunteer Network Sustain Free Mental Health Services for Bajaur Victims
A successful series of weekly Free Mental Health Teleclinics is being sustained through the joint collaboration of Horizon, Ibadat Hospital Peshawar, and the Community Volunteer Network. This initiative aims to provide accessible, free-of-cost mental healthcare services to individuals affected by the crisis in Bajaur who are facing economic hardship.
To date, these teleclinics have provided free consultations to over 250 patients suffering from psychological disorders, along with the provision of necessary free medications. Utilizing telemedicine, these clinics ensure expert psychiatric consultation reaches remote areas where access to conventional healthcare facilities is often challenging.
