In the heart of Board Bazar, where the aroma of Iftar preparations fills the air, we met Afghan refugees who have called Peshawar home for four decades.

Now, with Pakistan’s decision to send them back, they face an uncertain future.

"For 40 years, we built our lives here. Now, we are being asked to return to a land where we have nothing left," one refugee shared with teary eyes.

Their grief is deep, their worries endless. As they prepare for what comes next, one question lingers: Where do we truly belong?
