Khadim UL Khalaq Foundation Khadim UL Khalaq Founadation (KKF), which means Servant of Humanity, is a social welfare organisation, focuses on Youth, Education and Peace.

Muhammad Farooq Afridi along with other friends launched Khadim UL Khalaq Foundation (KKF) in 2012 to mobilize and engage youth in peace-building Process. KKF started work while Taliban were in power who destroyed the social fabric of our society, youth were impress with the power Taliban had and were inclined to join them, educational institute were demolished as they were afraid of books and pen

, every one was in fear who were not from them. In this crucial time KKF team took the initiative with organized efforts to save the community from complete fall. It was the time when none of the social, political, national or international organization dare to stand and lead the community in a positive direction but Khadim UL Khalaq Foundation team took the lead. KKF took every step to find the alternatives and prevent youth from joining militant organizations. Today Khadim UL Khalaq Foundation has hundreds of volunteers who are working for the better tomorrow. KKF is sponsoring the education of more than hundred students who would otherwise join militant organizations.

ڈسٹرکٹ پریس کلب وانا میں خادم الخلق فاؤنڈیشن (KKF) اور سنٹر فار ریجنل پالیسی اینڈ ڈائیلاگ (CRPD) کے زیر اہتمام امن اور جمہوریت کے حوالے سے سٹڈی سرکل کے حوالے سے سمینار کا انعقاد

وانا / لوئر وزیرستان کے ڈسٹرکٹ پریس کلب وانا میں امن وجمہوریت کے حوالے سے ایک سیمینار منعقد کی گئی، جس میں تمام سیاسی پارٹیوں اور تاجر برادری کے علاوہ وکلاء حضرات اور صحافیوں نے بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کیں۔

امن اور جمہوریت کے حوالے سے منعقدہ سمینار میں اے این پی سے انور خپلواک، آیاز وزیر، پی پی پی سے آمان اللہ وزیر، جے آئی سے سیف الرحمن وزیر، این ڈی ایم سے طارق وزیر، پی ٹی ایم سے مولانا زینت اللہ، نے نمائندگی کی۔

جبکہ وکلاء کی جانب سے اجمل وزیر ایڈووکیٹ، تاجر برادری سے تاج محمد وزیر، کونسلر اتحاد سے عصمت اللہ، صحافیوں سے نیک محمد اور وانا ویلفیئر ایسوسی ایشن سے اویس وزیر ودیگر نے نمائندگی کرتے ہوئے اپنے اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کیا۔

سمینار میں موجود شرکاء نے علاقے میں امن وامان برقرار رکھنے اور جمہوریت کی بالادستی پر سیر حاصل گفتگو کی، اور کہا کہ وانا میں تمام سیاسی جماعتوں کا امن وامان کے حوالے سے کردار انتہائی مثبت رہا ہے،جو قابل ستائش ہیں ان کی مثبت کردار اور جمہوریت پسندی سے علاقے میں کافی حد تک امن کا قیام ممکن ہوا ہے۔

ایگزیکٹو ڈائریکٹر مہران وزیر نے کہا کہ پہلے ہم اس حوالے سے سالانہ 12 پروگرام کرتے تھے،
اب آئندہ سال اس کو وسعت دے کر 14 پروگرام کریں گے۔ تاکہ لوگوں میں جمہوری نظام کے بارے آگاہی ہوں۔

Fourth Capacity-Building Training | Dera Ismail Khan

The fourth 3-day capacity-building training on “Political Mobilization and Connectivity of Youth Activists of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” was organized by Khadim ul Khalaq Foundation (KKF) with the support of National Endowment for Democracy (NED). The Training was organized in Sheraton Guest House, DPO Chowk, Dera Ismail Khan 30th September 2022.
The training was the fourth training on this year which was organized for the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The participants hailed from newly merged districts (NMDs), including South and North Waziristan, Dandola, Tank, Darazinda, Lucky Marwat, Bannu and Domail. Majority of the participants were social and political activists from the mentioned districts and areas. There were great diversity among the participants where along with students and political activists local poets and singers took part in the training. During the three day training they exhibited their experiences and activism under banners of the aforementioned forums. They committed to write articles and commentaries for Centre for Regional Policy & Dialogue (CRPD) - A project of KKF. They also posted their experiences of the training on their social media accounts and handles.
The training also provided opportunity for the participants to interact with local politicians, lawyers and journalists. They share contacts with them for future activism and interactions in this regard.
There were lectures/presentations, debates, discussions and the ‘group activities’ in the sessions. KKF distributed certificates amongst participants.
At the end of the training Mr. Shaukat Aziz – a famous Pashtun singer – sung songs for the participants where they formed traditional dance (attan).
KKF appreciates all the participants, resource persons, and all other facilitators.

Third 3-Days Capacity-Building Training | Peshawar
Khadim Ul Khalaq Foundation organized the third 3-day capacity-building training on “Political Mobilization and Connectivity of Youth Activists of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). The Training was held in Royal Club Guest House University Town, Peshawar on 24th August 2022.
The participants hailed from newly merged districts (NMDs), including social and political activists. They carry out their activism under various organizations and forums, including [indigenous] civil society and civil society organizations, students’ organizations, political parties, and various social and political alliances. During the three days of training, they exhibited their experiences and activism under the banners of the aforementioned forums. They committed to writing articles and commentaries for the Centre for Regional Policy & Dialogue (CRPD) - A project of KKF. They also posted their experiences of the training on their social media accounts and handles.
The training comprised lectures/presentations, debates, discussions, and group activities in a series of sessions. At the end of the training, KKF distributed certificates amongst the participants.

CAMP held a one-day CSOs’ Alliance Meeting at Peshawar on 30 July 2022, on the role of CSOs in promoting women’s property and inheritance rights in the Newly Merged Districts, in coordination with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace Secretariat.

Ms. Mariam Khan from CAMP NGO welcomed the CSO members who participated in the meeting from across the Newly Merged Districts. This was followed by sharing of a video documentary and animated video produced by CAMP on women’s inheritance in the NMDs. Mr. Asad Ali from CAMP shared CAMP’s experience regarding the awareness campaign carried out by CSOs, from the proposal development to the implementation process. He also held a detailed session on the reporting requirements for CSOs.

In the second session, representatives from local CSOs shared the achievements and challenges they faced when implementing awareness activities in their respective districts. Activities include Jirga meetings with religious elders and tribal leaders, sessions with law enforcement representatives, community meetings with men and women, awareness sessions in schools, radio and print campaigns for awareness and facilitating women to submit cases related to property with the Ombudsperson Secretariat.

In the concluding session, Ms. Sabeha Iqbal, pro bono lawyer at the Ombudsperson Secretariat shared issues that women face in trying to get their rightful share in inheritance. She said the ratio of cases from NMDs is very small, but it is hoped that with initiatives such as Da Khor Barkha project, this will increase. She shared two successful cases from Khyber and Waziristan, and hoped that there will be more from other districts as the awareness about the law and its acceptance increases.
