We are pleased to announce Advocate Javeria Durrani as an Executive Member of the Citizen’s Rights & Advocacy Forum (CRAF).

A graduate of University of Central Lancashire, she has been practicing before the District and Sessions Courts for nearly one year, primarily dealing with civil, criminal, family, and other legal matters. Her professional experience includes working with the Military Lands & Cantonment Department and the Attorney General’s Office, providing her valuable exposure to governmental and administrative legal frameworks.

She has also had the honor of serving as a Youth MPA, strengthening her understanding of legislative processes, public policy, and youth representation in governance. Recently, she participated in a session at the Provincial Intelligence Fusion & Threat Assessment Center, offering legal perspectives on current security situations and response strategies.

Alongside her legal practice, Advocate Javeria Durrani is committed to pro bono legal assistance, particularly for women, minorities, and marginalized communities, with a strong focus on access to justice and legal awareness.

🌟 Introducing Aqsa Khan – Hiring Manager, CRAF 🌟

We are pleased to announce Aqsa Khan as the Recruiting Manager of the Citizen’s Rights & Advocacy Forum (CRAF).
A dedicated law student at Khyber Law College, University of Peshawar, Aqsa has actively engaged in academic and co-curricular initiatives throughout her legal studies.

She has participated in various cohorts, managed events and training sessions, and served as an Ambassador for LCOY Pakistan. She also organized a program on climate change and environmental laws and gained practical experience through a moot court on harassment cases. Her participation in seminars and workshops on legal rights and community engagement has further strengthened her advocacy and leadership skills.

🌟 Introducing Usman Shahab – Media & Content Lead, CRAF 🌟

We are excited to announce Usman Shahab as the Media & Content Lead of the Citizen’s Rights & Advocacy Forum (CRAF).

A final-year law student at Abdul Wali Khan University, Usman brings a strong combination of academic excellence, legal insight, and practical institutional experience. He completed an internship at the Peshawar High Court, gaining exposure to court proceedings, litigation, and judicial practices, and further honed his communication and coordination skills during an internship at Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Peshawar.

He has served twice as General Secretary of the AWKUM Legal Circle and as Legal Affairs Head at Guide Motivation & Support (GMS), showcasing leadership in legal and community-focused initiatives. Usman has also published two research papers—on Climate Change and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)—reflecting his dedication to research-driven advocacy.

We are pleased to announce Momina Kousar Siddiquie as the Finance Secretary of the Citizen’s Rights & Advocacy Forum (CRAF).

An LLB graduate and recipient of a laptop under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme along with academic recognitions, Momina is a practicing lawyer at the District Courts, actively contributing to the legal profession. She graduated from the 3-month Amal Career Prep Fellowship with distinction, reflecting strong professional discipline and leadership potential. She also completed a 6-month English Works certification program by the United States Consulate General Peshawar, focusing on professional development, communication skills, leadership, critical thinking, and ethics.

Momina has actively contributed to student development by organizing a certification workshop in collaboration with CIMS Foundation at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University. She is a member of the Pakistan US Alumni Network and is also affiliated with the Hanns Seidel Foundation.

Her notable achievement includes outstanding performance in the Model of Council of Common Interest (2021–2023), where she represented key provincial leadership roles, qualified for provincial and national rounds, and ranked among the top 30 out of 3,800 participants — demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

🌟 Introducing Sayyar Akbar Khan – Public Relations Officer, CRAF 🌟

We are pleased to announce Sayyar Akbar Khan as the Public Relations Officer of the Citizen’s Rights & Advocacy Forum (CRAF).

A dedicated law student currently enrolled in the 8th semester at Islamia College University, Sayyar has consistently demonstrated academic commitment and active engagement in advocacy platforms.

He was part of CRAF’s first cohort on Climate Change Advocacy and Environmental Protection Laws, reflecting his early involvement in rights-based environmental discourse. As a mooter, he participated in a moot court competition at Islamia College University Peshawar and secured the position of runner-up — an achievement that highlights his research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills.

Beyond academics, Sayyar is also associated with Jehad for Zero Thalassaemia (JZT), a social welfare organization where he has hosted seminars and contributed to awareness initiatives. He further served as moderator in a panel discussion on “Climate Justice: Legal and Environmental Perspective,” showcasing his leadership and communication abilities.

We are proud to introduce Tariq Ali Khan as the Vice President of the Citizen’s Rights & Advocacy Forum (CRAF).

An alumnus of Edwardes College, Tariq brings valuable administrative and institutional experience to the organization. He has been serving at the Ombudsperson Secretariat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the past 8 months, where he has gained practical exposure to grievance redressal mechanisms, public service accountability, and institutional procedures.

His professional experience within a statutory accountability framework reflects his understanding of citizens’ rights, administrative justice, and governance structures — all of which strongly align with CRAF’s mission.

As Vice President, Tariq Ali Khan will play a pivotal role in strengthening organizational coordination, strategic planning, and institutional growth.
