Dosti Welfare Organization at NFE/ALP Technical Committee Meeting
Dosti Welfare Organization participated in the NFE/ALP Technical Committee Quarterly Review Meeting organized by the Elementary & Secondary Education Foundation (E&SEF) in collaboration with JICA-AQAL on 19 August 2026 in Peshawar. The meeting brought together organizations working to expand Non-Formal Education and address the challenges of out-of-school children.
During the session, Dosti presented its vision, mission and community-based education initiatives, including Dosti One-Room Schools and School on Wheels, highlighting its efforts to take education to underserved communities.
The Dosti team also presented its MIS system and educational projects, and expressed its willingness to collaborate with E&SEF and other partners to expand Non-Formal Education opportunities.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for sharing experiences, discussing strategies for reaching out-of-school children, strengthening partnerships, and planning future literacy activities. The official agenda also focused on resource sharing, sustainability of NFE centres, partner mapping, OoSC analysis and planning for International Literacy Day on 8 September.
Together, we can make quality education accessible to every child.

Dosti Welfare Organization at NFE/ALP Technical Committee Meeting

Today, Dosti Welfare Organization proudly celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day with the students and community of Badabir School, Badhber, Peshawar. The celebration was filled with patriotism, joy, and a spirit of unity.

We are especially thankful to Dr. Shah Mir for his valuable efforts, support, and dedication in making this Independence Day celebration truly memorable for our children.
