🌍🇵🇰 World Tourism Day 2026
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, a special educational and awareness visit to the Peshawar Museum was organized by District Youth Affairs Peshawar, Pak Youth Parliament and The Green Zone, in collaboration with Dosti Welfare Organization.
More than 100 young participants from different areas of Peshawar participated enthusiastically in the program.
The visit aimed to introduce young people to the historical and cultural heritage of Peshawar, highlight the importance of preserving historical sites and artifacts, and promote awareness of responsible tourism.
During the visit, participants explored the museum’s ancient artifacts, historical collections, and remarkable exhibits related to the Gandhara Civilization. The visit helped participants understand the importance of preserving Pakistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage for future generations.

Education for Every Child, Every Girl.

In District Khyber, girls’ education remains a major challenge, with many children still out of school. But step by step, change is happening.

Today, through Global Education Campaign (GEC) and DOSTI Welfare Organization, another DOSTI One Room School was opened after meeting with the local community and parents. Basic learning materials, including a whiteboard, stand, slates and other essential supplies, were also provided.

InshaAllah, every new DOSTI One Room School will bring us closer to reducing illiteracy and giving children, especially girls, the opportunity to learn, grow and build a better future.

Today, the Global Education Campaign (GEC) launched a new Dosti One Room School in Miyagan, District Khyber, for children who were deprived of schooling. The children were also provided with basic learning materials, including a whiteboard, stand, and slates, to begin their educational journey.
