Dear Batch – 10,

Fast external event Society aims to provide a platform for the talented students of NUCES-FAST Peshawar Campus to display their talent at different competitions, exhibitions and contests that are being held outside the campus. The society aims to accomplish its goals by keeping a track of the upcoming events in the different universities and trying their best to arrange participation of the worthy students from our university.

Objective of the Society :

The main objective of the society is to make students and the concerned Students Societies aware of the external events which are held outside the campus.
Names of participating students would be obtained from the concerned Students Societies and then other processing is done as per SOP.
Coordinate with the host community of the respective event and clear every type of ambiguity regarding any event being held at different universities.
Motivate brightest students who are hesitant to display their ideas/projects.
With the coordination of the faculty advisor, prepare estimated budget and get it approved from the Director.
Arrange the best available resources for the transport and stay for the students.
Ensure that the students selected for the event participate.
Providing the report of the event after the arrival to the Administration.
To make sure that discipline is maintained during the entire event.
It is hereby requested to all the batch-10 students having CGPA 3.0+ should apply for the different positions through an email not later than Sep 9th 2013 (12:00 PM). The FEES team consists of the following positions.

President (1 Position)
Vice President (1 Position)
General Secretary (1 Position)
Management Representative (1 Position)
Engineering Representative (1 Position)
Computer Science Representative (1 Position)
Female Representative ( 1 Position)

As you know that tomorrow is the 13 th SoftCom event and we hope that you are ready for it. In that concern we must add to your knowledge that there are some rules & regulations and some last minute pack up details for you as followed.

1- The buses will depart at 9:00 AM sharp from FAST university.

2- Don’t forget to bring warm clothes and quilts.

3- ACM-GIKI will not provide food. Participants can eat at the cafeteria or at the campus hotel at their own expense.

4- Participants should bring along their own soap, towels, mobile
chargers, extension wires etc.

5- Don’t forget to bring your CNIC's/Institute ID cards.

6- Guns, ammunition, sheesha, prohibited drugs and other contra bands are strictly forbidden for participants to carry with themselves or in
their luggage.

7- (CS-Students) All participants are especially encouraged to register for Social Media Application Development. This is a sponsored competition and Walnut Media (www.walnutmedia.com) is also going to recruit students based on their performance in this competition. Please visit our website for details of this competition. There will be no Charges for the registration.

8- Inform your Group partners as well if they are anyhow unable to reach this email.
