Governor Kundi assures support for transgender, women’s rights issues
PESHAWAR, Jul 30 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has assured a delegation of "Da Hawwa Lur" Organization that the concerns of transgender persons and other marginalized communities would be taken up with the relevant authorities. The assurance came during a meeting with a delegation of the organization led by its Project Director, Ms. Shawana Shah, at the Governor House.

دا حوا لور کے کمیونٹی لیڈرشپ انیشی ایٹو کے شرکاء کا خیبر پختونخوا کمیشن آن دی اسٹیٹس آف وومن (KPCSW) آفس کا مطالعاتی دورہ

پشاور، 23 جون 2026:
خیبر پختونخوا کمیشن آن دی اسٹیٹس آف وومن (KPCSW) نے ادارہ دا حوا لور کے جاری کمیونٹی لیڈرشپ انیشی ایٹو کے تحت آنے والے شرکاء کا کمیشن کے دفتر میں خیرمقدم کیا۔

اس مطالعاتی دورے کا مقصد شرکاء کو خواتین کے حقوق کے تحفظ، صنفی مساوات کے فروغ اور ان مقاصد کے حصول کے لیے قائم ادارہ جاتی نظام سے آگاہ کرنا تھا۔

تقریب کا آغاز دا حوا لور کی ٹیم لیڈ محترمہ مہوش ثناء کے استقبالیہ کلمات سے ہوا، جس کے بعد شرکاء کے مابین مؤثر رابطے اور باہمی شمولیت کو فروغ دینے کے لیے ایک تعارفی سرگرمی (آئس بریکنگ سیشن) منعقد کی گئی۔

بعد ازاں چیف ایگزیکٹو آفیسر محترمہ خورشید بانو نے ادارہ دا حوا لور کے وژن، مشن، پروگرامز اور اہم اقدامات پر تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔ انہوں نے خواتین کو بااختیار بنانے، انسانی حقوق کے فروغ، قانونی آگاہی اور قائدانہ صلاحیتوں کی ترقی کے حوالے سے ادارے کی کاوشوں پر روشنی ڈالی۔

اس موقع پر خیبر پختونخوا کمیشن آن دی اسٹیٹس آف وومن کی جانب سے سیکرٹری محترمہ شازیہ عطا اور ایڈمن آفیسر جناب ایمل خان نے شرکاء کو کمیشن کے آئینی و قانونی مینڈیٹ، تنظیمی ڈھانچے، ذمہ داریوں اور خدمات سے آگاہ کیا۔ بریفنگ میں خواتین کے حقوق کے تحفظ، صنفی حساس قوانین اور پالیسیوں کی نگرانی، متعلقہ اداروں کے ساتھ مؤثر رابطہ کاری، شکایات کے ازالے کے نظام، اور صوبے میں صنفی مساوات کے فروغ کے لیے کمیشن کے کردار کو تفصیل سے اجاگر کیا گیا۔

شرکاء نے کمیشن کے مختلف امور، خدمات اور خواتین کے حقوق کے تحفظ کے لیے کیے جانے والے اقدامات کے بارے میں آگاہی حاصل کی اور سوال و جواب کے سیشن میں بھرپور دلچسپی کا اظہار کیا۔

مطالعاتی دورے کے اختتام پر شرکاء نے اس موقع کو نہایت مفید اور معلوماتی قرار دیتے ہوئے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ وہ اپنی اپنی برادریوں میں خواتین کے حقوق، صنفی مساوات، شہری شمولیت اور مؤثر وکالت کے فروغ کے لیے فعال کردار ادا کریں گے۔

خیبر پختونخوا کمیشن آن دی اسٹیٹس آف وومن اس عزم کا اعادہ کرتا ہے کہ خواتین کے حقوق کے تحفظ، صنفی مساوات کے فروغ اور متعلقہ اداروں و سول سوسائٹی کے ساتھ مؤثر شراکت داری کے ذریعے ایک محفوظ، بااختیار اور مساوی معاشرے کے قیام کے لیے اپنی کاوشیں جاری رکھے گا۔

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held at the Headquarters of the Right to Public Services (RTS) Commission between the RTS Commission and Da Hawa Lor Organization. The partnership aims to strengthen public awareness regarding citizens' right to quality public services, promote service delivery standards, and enhance public engagement through joint awareness initiatives across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

We highly appreciate the efforts of Election Commission of Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for playing their effective role in empowering women as voters, candidates and leaders of tomorrow. Our Mentees from Charsadda visited the ECP office where they learnt about the Election laws, Voter and Candidate Education, Gender Sensitive Initiatives by ECP and practical demonstration on the voting procedure.

The mentorship program connects the Mentors to young women and girls supporting them in strengthening next generation of leaders into decision making and policy making processes.
