At the Peshawar Literary Festival, the powerful session "Pyaas ki Zubaan: Paani, Adab aur Siyasat ka Mukalma", moderated by our very own Naima Hayat, brought together voices that matter bridging literature, policy, activism, and lived experiences. Kudos to Naima, Co-Team Lead at Climate Dialogue Peshawar, for steering this nuanced conversation at another initiative of Culture, Literature, Arts and Development Organization - CLADO .

At Climate Dialogue Peshawar, we strongly believe that the climate crisis cannot be understood or addressed through a single lens. It demands a localized, indigenous, and multipronged approach where science, literature, politics, and media converge to tell the whole story.

We applaud the panelists Dr. Shakeel Hayat, Amna M***i, Naseer Memon and Muhammad Daud Khan for voicing the urgency of climate justice and water governance with such depth and clarity.

Let’s continue building spaces where narratives flow like rivers which are deep, transformative, and rooted in local truths.

We're thrilled to have delivered a session at the Go Green STEAM Project Competition 2025 by Peshawar Model Educational Network, inspiring students to become sustainability leaders and driving positive change!

Our interactive session was led by Shahab Ud Din. Other key speakers were Aisha Akram and Umar Farooq.

It began with an introduction to climate change, covering its basics, importance, and impact on local communities.

We explored real-life examples of climate change effects and discussed the urgent need for collective action.

Next, we delved into the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), highlighting its potential to drive innovative solutions for sustainability. We shared inspiring stories of environmental activists who made a difference and provided guidance on how to develop innovative project ideas that can address climate change challenges.

Through quizzes, discussions, and activities, we empowered the students to think creatively and develop practical solutions for a sustainable future. Our goal was to inspire them to become agents of change and make a positive impact in their communities.

Empowering young minds to drive positive change is at the heart of what we do at Climate Dialogue Peshawar. We're committed to fostering a community of innovators who can create a sustainable future!

We're proud to have organized a thought-provoking session on climate change at FATA University, in collaboration with the Association of Political Scientists and supported by Global Shapers - Peshawar Hub.

Our discussion began with understanding the fundamentals of climate change, followed by an in-depth exploration of its impact on local communities in Dara Adam Khail. We delved into the ways climate change is altering weather patterns, agricultural practices, and lifestyles.

Dr. Asma Dayan provided valuable insights into the critical nexus between climate change and health, highlighting the far-reaching consequences of inaction.

Shahab Ud Din led the session as our lead trainer, guiding the participants through interactive discussions and activities.

What struck us most was the enthusiasm and engagement of the students and teachers at FATA University. Together, we explored the sociology and politics of climate change, discussing how it can be politicized and the importance of individual actions to curb its effects.

At Climate Dialogue Peshawar, we're committed to promoting climate awareness and action. Join us in our efforts to create a sustainable future!
