At the Peshawar Literary Festival, the powerful session "Pyaas ki Zubaan: Paani, Adab aur Siyasat ka Mukalma", moderated by our very own Naima Hayat, brought together voices that matter bridging literature, policy, activism, and lived experiences. Kudos to Naima, Co-Team Lead at Climate Dialogue Peshawar, for steering this nuanced conversation at another initiative of Culture, Literature, Arts and Development Organization - CLADO .
At Climate Dialogue Peshawar, we strongly believe that the climate crisis cannot be understood or addressed through a single lens. It demands a localized, indigenous, and multipronged approach where science, literature, politics, and media converge to tell the whole story.
We applaud the panelists Dr. Shakeel Hayat, Amna M***i, Naseer Memon and Muhammad Daud Khan for voicing the urgency of climate justice and water governance with such depth and clarity.
Let’s continue building spaces where narratives flow like rivers which are deep, transformative, and rooted in local truths.
