CECOS Entrepreneurial & Startup Initiatives organized a seminar titled: 'WIR BANKING & ENTREPRENEURSHIP' where the keynote speaker Mr Ubaidullah, Assistant Professor of Management Sciences CECOS University talked about WIR bank. The German word:'WIR' which translates to We is a Swiss bank that was beautifully coupled with entrepreneurship and related to religion by the speaker.

Lastly, he defined money not as something to fulfil your necessities but as the central information utility of the world economy.
The seminar was attended by everyone including the HoDs and the students with great enthusiasm

The President of CECOS Entrepreneurial and Startups initiatives Mr Zain Ul Arfeen represented the CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences at the Conference of Prime Minister Youth Development Initiatives (Ba Ikhtiyaar Naujawan Program) held at the Jinnah Convention Hall in Islamabad. As He is also the member (Secretar General) of YPDC Young Peace and Development Corps CECOS Chapter.

The conference was inaugurated by the Federal Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Prof Ahsan Iqbal. The Prime Minister's Youth Development Initiatives were the highlight of the conference. It was an excellent opportunity to learn more about the government's efforts towards youth development.

The interviews were conducted with the utmost care and precision to ensure the selection of the most competent and dedicated individuals for the society's cabinet.

As a part of the onboarding process, President Mr. Zain-Ul-Arfeen also conducted an introductory session to the newly formed cabinet, providing insights into the daily functioning of the society.

After an extensive vetting process, Mr. Zain Ul Arfeen has been selected as the new president of CECOS Entrepreneurial and Startups Initiatives society for the year 2023.

Zain is a dynamic individual with expertise in event management, entrepreneurship & science. Having served as a Vice-President last year, we believe he has the right skill set & experience that a candidate for this particular role needs.
