🌸 Empowering Women Through Skills

The Women Development Center (WDC) in Cherat, District Nowshera, is helping women build skills and create new opportunities.

With funding from Cherat Cement Company Limited (CCCL) and implementation by HEADS, the center has so far trained 480 women in stitching, hand embroidery, and fashion designing.

Together, we are helping women turn skills into opportunities and strengthening communities. 🤝

🇵🇰 Celebrating Freedom, Unity and Community Spirit – District Tank

On Pakistan’s Independence Day, 14th August 2026, a Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF)-supported activity was organized at Government High School No. 1, District Tank, with the support of the school administration.

The activity brought together students, school representatives, community members, and district-level stakeholders to honor the spirit of Independence Day and promote unity, patriotism, participation, and social cohesion.

The event was attended by Lt. Colonel Sher Ali, Major Abdullah, Education Officer Sher Muhammad Wazir, along with school representatives and participants.

The celebrations also included participation in the official flag-hoisting ceremony at DC Compound and the Independence Day football match at Degree College.

Together for a stronger, united and prosperous Pakistan. 🇵🇰

We are proud to announce that the Health Education and Development Society (HEADS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Field Office has been designated as the District Lead Organization (DLO) for District Tank under the National District-Level Humanitarian Coordination Framework.

This important responsibility, led by the Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) with the support of UNOCHA, the Pakistan Humanitarian Forum (PHF), and the National Humanitarian Network (NHN), reflects HEADS' continued commitment to strengthening humanitarian coordination, enhancing emergency preparedness, and fostering effective collaboration among humanitarian partners at the district level.
