In recent years, we've seen more frequent and more intense cloud bursts sudden, heavy downpours that cause devastating flash floods. But why is this happening?

🔬 The science is clear:
As the planet warms due to human-driven climate change, the atmosphere holds more moisture. This leads to more extreme weather events, including violent cloud bursts in mountainous and urban regions.

What was once rare is becoming common.

A one-day awareness session titled “Role of Youth in Climate Change Action” was successfully conducted at Government Girls Degree College Jamrud, District Khyber. The event aimed to raise awareness about climate change among young women and inspire them to take action in their communities.

Representatives from Action Alliance Associates and Green Generation Dialogue-GGD introduced the purpose and objectives of the session.

Ms. Mahrukh Zahir delivered a powerful session on the importance of youth involvement in combating climate change. She emphasized:

The global and local effects of climate change.

The power of individual and collective action.
