FAST-NUCES Peshawar Campus had the honor of hosting a collaborative IEEE coordination meeting on 13 May 2026, bringing together distinguished academic and professional leadership from the IEEE Islamabad Section and IEEE Peshawar Subsection.

The meeting was led by Dr. Nosherwan Shoaib, Chairperson, IEEE Islamabad Section, and hosted by Dr. Omar Usman Khan, Chairperson, IEEE Peshawar Subsection. The session was further attended by Dr. Suleman Mir, General Secretary, IEEE Peshawar Subsection, and Usman Sohail, Chairperson, IEEE FAST-NUCES Peshawar Campus Student Branch.

The discussion focused on strengthening IEEE’s operational and professional outreach across the region through collaborative technical initiatives, workshops, seminars, student engagement activities, and industry-academia partnerships. Participants also explored opportunities for leadership development, innovation-driven projects, and enhanced participation of undergraduate and graduate students in IEEE programs and competitions.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment toward sustained inter-section collaboration and actionable future initiatives aimed at expanding IEEE’s technical impact and professional presence throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

An evening to remember, a bond to cherish forever

Batch 2022 of FAST NUCES Peshawar Campus, Department of Computer Science, gathered at the beautiful Peshawar Golf Club for one final celebration filled with laughter, memories, and heartfelt moments. From surviving deadlines and assignments to creating friendships that will last a lifetime, these four years gave us stories we’ll always carry with us.

The evening became even more memorable with the presence of our beloved Ma'am Sana, whose kindness, guidance, and support made university life brighter for everyone around her. As Batch 2022 steps into new journeys ahead, the memories made at FAST-NUCES will forever remain close to our hearts.

Day II of the Graduate Programs Review 2025–26 at FAST-NUCES Peshawar Campus concluded successfully on 7th May, 2026 under the framework of Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE).

During the second day of the 2-day review panel visit, the esteemed panelists engaged in interactive sessions with faculty members and students, followed by a comprehensive visit to campus facilities, including the library, research laboratories, classrooms, and other allied facilities.

The visit concluded with an exit meeting with Dr. Omar Usman Khan, Campus Director, where Dr. Pir Qasim Shah, serving as Convener of the Review Panel, Quality Assurance Agency of Pakistan (QAA), shared key observations and valuable recommendations for the enhancement and continuous improvement of the graduate programs as well as the overall campus environment.

The successful completion of the Graduate Programs Review 2025–26 reflects FAST-NUCES Peshawar Campus continued commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and institutional development.

The Virtual Job Fair 2026 at FAST-NUCES was truly a one-of-a-kind experience — a dynamic digital platform designed to connect graduating students with professionals, recruiters, mentors, and leaders from the global tech industry.

From morning till evening, the event remained actively engaged with back-to-back Career Readiness Sessions, Knowledge Sharing Talks, Recruitment Drives, Virtual Interviews, and One-to-One Alumni Mentorship Sessions. The initiative successfully created meaningful engagement between tech students and the industry through a modern virtual platform focused on networking, mentorship, recruitment, and learning.
