22 September 2013, a day we will never forget.
That day, blood was shed at All Saints Church, Peshawar. Lives were lost, families were broken, and our hearts were left with a memory we still carry today. But this 22 September, we choose to remember differently. Instead of remembering only the blood that was lost, we will give our blood to give life.
For the children fighting Thalassemia, blood is not just a donation, it is hope, it is strength, it is another day of life. A child who fights every day should not have to fight for the blood they need to survive.
So this year, let our remembrance become an act of love. The blood that was shed on 22 September 2013 will always be remembered. The blood we give today can help someone live.
Let us remember the lives lost by helping save the lives that are still fighting. Give blood. Give life.
