Today, our residents got creative with colorful paint-fold art. By adding a splash of color, folding the page, and revealing the unique design inside, everyone discovered something special in their artwork. From butterflies to blossoming flowers, each piece came with its own wonderful name and story!

WALK FOR THE RIGHTS & DIGNITY OF OLDER PERSONS
On 1st Oct 2026, Aqidat Home – a project of Elohim Home Trust held an Awareness & Advocacy Walk in connection with the International Day of Older Persons – 1 October 2026.
Walking through a busy transportation area connecting six major routes, we raised public awareness through placards calling for:
Healthcare • Dignity • Equality • Inclusion • Accessibility • Social Protection • Participation • Independence • Safety • Freedom from Ageism & Discrimination
Our message was clear:
OLDER PERSONS HAVE RIGHTS.
THEIR VOICES MATTER. THEIR DIGNITY MATTERS.
Let us create communities where every older person can live with respect, security, dignity and inclusion.

WALK FOR THE RIGHTS OF OLDER PERSONS | 1 OCTOBER 2026

On the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons, Aqidat Home – a project of Elohim Home Trust organized a peaceful Awareness & Advocacy Walk to raise our voices for the rights, dignity and wellbeing of older persons.

Aqidat Home serves older persons 24/7, providing nursing care, rehabilitation, healthcare, emotional support and a safe environment rooted in dignity and inclusion.

Today, we stepped beyond our walls to remind our community that older people have rights, voices and dreams too. Through our peaceful walk and awareness placards, we advocated for their right to dignity, quality healthcare, rehabilitation, inclusion, safety, respect and meaningful participation in society.

🪧 Our message is simple:

Webinar on International Day of Older Persons 2026

Aqidat Home – Center for Elderly People participated in the International Day of Older Persons 2026 Webinar, organized by FAID Pakistan the Foundation for Ageing and Inclusive Development (FAID) on September 29, 2026.

The webinar was attended by Operations Head Ms. Lorita Daniel, Medical Head Mr. Bilwal Pervaiz, and Rehabilitation Head Ms. Roshni from Aqidat Home.

The distinguished speakers discussed important issues including policy-making, dignity, inclusion, the wellbeing of older persons, and the rights of older women. The session highlighted the importance of building an inclusive society where every older person is respected, valued, heard, and supported to live with dignity.

💙 Aqidat Home remains committed to continuous learning, advocacy, and strengthening quality care for our elderly residents.
