Every career begins with a moment of clarity and for many young women lawyers, that moment is realizing that the judiciary is not just a distant goal, but a path they can confidently pursue.

Through this training, Dr. Muhammad Naveed Khan, as trainer, conducted an engaging session for young women lawyers on career pathways to the judiciary.

The session strengthened participants’ understanding, confidence, and preparedness to pursue judicial careers, while encouraging greater representation of women within the justice sector.
Because when more women step into decision-making roles, justice becomes more inclusive, balanced, and responsive.

Understanding gender sensitivity as a legal and ethical imperative is essential for paralegal staff who play a frontline role in supporting justice delivery. In a system where women’s access to justice is often limited by bias, lack of awareness, and systemic barriers, building gender-responsive attitudes is not just a value it is a responsibility.

Through this initiative under the project “Improving Gender Parity for Strengthening Gender-Responsive Justice in Pakistan,” paralegal staff are being equipped with the knowledge of pro-women laws, ethical standards, and survivor-centered approaches. This strengthens their ability to handle cases with fairness, dignity, and sensitivity, ensuring that justice systems become more inclusive and responsive.

By promoting gender sensitivity, we move closer to a justice system where every individual—especially women and marginalized groups feels heard, protected, and empowered to seek justice.
