چیئرمین ہلال احمر آزادکشمیر سردار شفیق احمد خان نے آج صدر ریاست آزادجموں وکشمیر وصدر ہلال احمر پاکستان بیرسٹر سلطان محمود چوہدری(مرحوم) کی قبر پر فاتحہ خوانی کی۔ اس موقع پر صدر ریاست کے پبلک ریلیشن آفیسر شوکت جنجوعہ و ایڈوائزر ٹو چیئرمین ہلال احمر آزادکشمیر اسامہ طارق بھی ہمراہ تھے۔
چیئرمین نے مرحوم کے درجات کی بلندی اور لواحقین کے لئے صبر کی دعا بھی فرمائی۔

یاد رہے کہ
صدر آزاد جموں وکشمیر بیرسٹر سلطان محمود چوہدری طویل علالت کے بعد 31جنوری کو اسلام آباد میں انتقال فرما گئے تھے۔ جنہیں سرکاری و فوجی اعزاز گن کیرج (Gun Carrriage)کے ساتھ ان کے آبائی قبرستان میں سپرد خاک کر دیا گیا۔ یہ وہ اعزاز جو پاکستان میں صرف 5 شخصیات کو نصیب ہوا۔ اس سے قبل یہ اعزاز بانی پاکستان قائداعظم محمد علی جناح، جنرل محمد ضیاء الحق، عبدالستار ایدھی، ڈاکٹر روتھ فاؤکو دیا گیا۔

مظفرآباد: ہلال احمر آزادکشمیر سٹیٹ برانچ میں صدر ریاست آزادجموں وکشمیر و صدر/چیف پیٹرن ہلال احمر آزادکشمیر بیرسٹر سلطان محمود چوہدری کے لیے فاتحہ خوانی کی گئی۔
فاتحہ خوانی میں سیکرٹری ریڈ کریسنٹ آزادکشمیر محترمہ گلزار فاطمہ کے علاؤہ ریڈ کریسنٹ کا سٹاف اور رضاکاران بھی موجود تھے۔
اس موقع پر بیرسٹر سلطان محمود چوہدری کے درجات کی بلندی اور لواحقین کے لیے صبرِ جمیل کی دعا کی گئی۔
سیکرٹری ریڈ کریسنٹ آزادکشمیر محترمہ گلزار فاطمہ کا کہنا تھا کہ بیرسٹر سلطان محمود چوہدری کی سیاسی، سماجی، وانسانیت کے لئے خدمات ناقابل فراموش ہیں۔ ان کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مرحوم کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائے اور اہلِ خانہ کو یہ صدمہ برداشت کرنے کی توفیق دے۔
اس موقع پر بیرسٹر سلطان محمود چوہدری کی خدمات کو خراج عقیدت پیش کیا گیا۔ یاد رہے کہ بیرسٹر سلطان محمود چوہدری بلحاظ عہدہ ہلال احمر آزادکشمیر کے صدر و چیف پیٹرن بھی تھے۔

Building Bridges, Building Resilience

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), AJ&K State Branch, with the support of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) recently organized a Community Baithak (Gathering) for Youth and Elderly Persons in Kundal Shahi, Neelum, AJ&K, as part of the Monsoon Response Operation supported by DREF.

This inclusive gathering brought together community members of all ages to share experiences, concerns, and priorities related to monsoon-related risks.

The session strengthened intergenerational dialogue, enhanced community awareness, and promoted collective action for preparedness, resilience, and social cohesion.

صدر آزاد جموں و کشمیر وصدر ہلال احمر پاکستان آزاد کشمیر سٹیٹ برانچ بیرسٹر سلطان محمود چوہدری طویل علالت کے بعد آج اسلام آباد میں انتقال کر گئے۔ ان کی عمر
71 برس تھی۔
جن کی نمازِ جنازہ کل بروز اتوار4 بجے میرپور سٹیڈیم، میں ادا کی جائے گی، جس کے بعد انہیں سپردِ خاک کیا جائے گا۔
بیرسٹر سلطان محمود چوہدری 9 اگست 1955ء کو چیچیاں، میرپور آزاد کشمیر میں پیدا ہوئے۔

چیئرمین ہلال احمر آزادکشمیر سٹیٹ برانچ سردار شفیق احمد خان و سیکرٹری گلزار فاطمہ نے صدر ریاست کے انتقال پر گہرے دکھ اور رنج کا اظہار کیا اور لواحقین اور اہل خانہ کے لئے صبر کی دعا بھی کی۔

PRCS staff and volunteers are on the ground and distributing warm clothes, shoes, blankets, and essential items among vulnerable communities, bringing relief to those most in need.

As part of the Monsoon Response Operation
the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), AJ&K State Branch, with the support of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies recently organized a Mapping for Services of Religious Minorities activity in district Neelum, AJ&K.

Activity was aimed at promoting inclusion, equitable access to services, and social cohesion, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, receives the support they need.

The activity brought together Community members to identify the specific needs of religious minority groups, map available services, and highlight gaps in humanitarian assistance.

Pakistan Red Crescent Society AJK State Branch, with the support of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), organized Psychosocial Support and Hygiene Sessions for flood affected communities at Union Council Sarli Sacha under Gender, Protection and Inclusion initiative.
The sessions aimed to enhance psychosocial support and Health & Hygiene. Over 200 females were sensitised on Mental Health, Health & personal Hygiene.
150 dignity kits were also distributed among females, women, and girls. Besides 04 village committees of men and women were also formed.
