Action Against Poverty envisage a prosper Pakistan without poverty. AAP was registered under Societies Act 1860.

The founders felt the need to draw special attention on alleviating root causes of poverty and building the capacities of communities for healthy life and peaceful co-existence. AAP aims to provide a platform to facilitate marginalized and unprivileged communities to solve their social, economical, cultural, religious issues and problems with participatory approach. AAP believes and intends to pro

mote integrated strategy for development and empowerment which focuses on community mobilization for ensuring basic rights and needs of the communities with main emphasis on women and children development.
