𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻'𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
The Mainstream Association of Persons with Disabilities, in collaboration with Moon Bread, Mux Institute, Altalik Technologies, and HANDS Welfare Foundation, celebrated Pakistan Independence Day with great enthusiasm and national spirit.
The ceremony was graced by Ms. Mehmil Nadeem, Director Moon Bread, and Sardar Umar Jaskani, President NPA, as distinguished Chief Guests. The event was hosted by Mrs. Saleha Pasha, Patron-in-Chief, Mainstream Association of Persons with Disabilities, while Ms. Rizwana Malik, Managing Director Mainstream, served as the Stage Secretary.
Persons with Disabilities actively participated in the celebrations and presented national songs, expressing their love and patriotism for Pakistan. Their performances created an atmosphere of joy, pride, and unity.
Addressing the ceremony, Ms. Mehmil Nadeem appreciated the initiative and said that it was an amazing and unique celebration. She expressed her happiness at seeing Moon Bread celebrate such a special occasion together with Persons with Disabilities and emphasized the importance of inclusion and equal participation.
Sardar Umar Jaskani also addressed the gathering and expressed his continued support for this noble cause. He highlighted that Persons with Disabilities are an important and valuable part of Pakistan and deserve equal opportunities to contribute to the development of the country.
Mrs. Saleha Pasha, Patron-in-Chief of Mainstream Association, emphasized the need for collective efforts to improve the lives of Persons with Disabilities. She appreciated their talent and said that they only need opportunities, inclusion, encouragement, and support to demonstrate their abilities and contribute meaningfully to society.
The ceremony was also attended by members of the Mainstream Board of Directors, including Ms. Asma Nadeem, Mrs. Shehla Mustafa Pasha, Ms. Samina, Mr. Asad Malik, Syed Asim Raza, Shah Ahmad, and Ali Bhatti.
A large number of Persons with Disabilities, civil society members, youth leaders, and community representatives participated in the celebration. The event reflected the spirit of inclusion, equality, patriotism, and unity, reaffirming the commitment of all stakeholders to creating a more inclusive Pakistan where everyone has an equal opportunity to participate and thrive.
