Sukh Development Foundation An educated and developed society where people live a quality life being self-reliant, tolerant, and respectful and exercise equal rights.

Sukh Development Foundation is national level not for profit, non-religious, non-political and non-governmental organization. Formed by some committed motivated development professionals in 2009. The Sukh Development Foundation was registered in 2016 under Societies Registration Act 1860. The organization particularly works with deprived segments of society by adopting multi-sect oral development

approaches to bring about positive changes which ultimately improve overall living conditions and create positive, peaceful and tolerant environment within the marginalized communities, especially with children, youth and women. The organization work is guided by the Human Rights declaration, Conventions on the Rights of the Child (CRC), Convention on Elimination of All forms of Discrimination against Women (CEWDA), various ILO Conventions and other national and international treaties, laws and regulations.

SUKH Development Foundation proudly participated in the Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) Road Show 2026. Our Head of Programs and Head of Operations attended the event and engaged with representatives of technical training institutes from across South Punjab to explore future collaboration opportunities.
The session was highly informative and reinforced SDF's commitment to empowering marginalized communities through quality skills development and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
A productive discussion was also held with Mr. Ali Akbar Bosan, COO, Punjab Skills Development Fund, regarding potential collaboration for establishing a technical training institute under SUKH Development Foundation.
Together, we look forward to creating pathways to employment, entrepreneurship, and a brighter future for our youth.

It was an honor for Sukh Development Foundation (SDF) to co-host, in collaboration with Doaba Foundation, a Capacity Building and Interactive Session under the umbrella of the Punjab Charities Commission, Home Department, at Garrison Public Library, Multan. The session brought together a large number of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to strengthen their understanding of the Safe Charities framework, regulatory compliance, transparency, accountability, and good governance. Mr. Aleem from the Punjab Charities Commission delivered a comprehensive presentation on the registration and compliance process, while Colonel Shahzad Amir, CEO, Punjab Charities Commission, highlighted the importance of safe and transparent charities in building public trust and maximizing social impact. A panel discussion, moderated by Mr. Javed Ahmed of Doaba Foundation, featuring Colonel Shahzad Amir, Ms. Umm-e-Farwa Hamdani, Divisional Director, Social Welfare Department, and Mr. Aleem, addressed participants’ questions and provided practical guidance on compliance procedures.

Mr. Khalil Ahmed Khan, CEO of Sukh Development Foundation, expressed his gratitude to the Punjab Charities Commission, Doaba Foundation, and all participating CSOs for making the event successful. He reaffirmed SDF’s commitment to collaborating with government institutions and development partners to organize similar capacity-building initiatives that strengthen civil society organizations and promote safe, transparent, and accountable charities for the well-being of communities across Punjab.

It was a privilege for Mr. Adnan Sulemani, Head of Programs , Sukh Development Foundation, and Mr. Safdar Hussain, Head of Operations, Sukh Development Foundation, to participate in the training programme on “Bridging Global Frameworks with Local Development Practices” held in Pattaya, Thailand.
The training provided a valuable platform to exchange knowledge, explore innovative approaches, and strengthen capacities for integrating global development frameworks into local contexts. Such learning opportunities contribute significantly to enhancing the effectiveness and impact of community development initiatives.

Our Foundation’s Head of Programs, Adnan Sulemani, and Head of Operations, Safdar Hussain, are currently participating in a workshop being held in Pattaya, Thailand.

The central theme of the workshop is:

“Bridging Global Frameworks with Local Development Practices”
— adapting global standards to local needs and on-the-ground realities.

The workshop is providing an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange, learning innovative strategies, and exploring practical solutions for sustainable development.
