Society for the Promotion of Education & Awareness is a not for profit Christian organization Registered Under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860, Registration # RM/170/S/2003 with the government of Pakistan. Our priorities includes Information and Education programs on human rights and democracy, Advocacy and Capacity building, Publication and Dissemination of Education Materials, Develo
pment & Awareness, Education Programs for Adults, Non Formal Education and Literacy Materials, Computer Literacy Programs and awareness regarding Information Technology, provision of scholarships for poor children, Multi Vocational Skills Programs for women, youth and elderly people, Educational Campaigns on positive culture values, Programs on Preventive Health, HIV/AIDS & STD education, Education and Awareness regarding Disaster Preparedness and Mitigation, Awareness raising and Education regarding Environment Protection Issues. Our programs emphasized special focus on women, children, youth, elderly people, Indigenous students, illiterate rural communities, Teachers, Formal & Non Formal Schools, Disadvantaged populations in the area of adult, non-formal education, computer literacy and vocational skills, Minority Groups, General Public, GO’s, NGO’s and civil society organizations. Please be informed that SEAP-Pakistan is working in the geographic boundaries of Southern Punjab comprising 13 under developed districts of Southern Punjab province. Executive Committee consists of 7 members (4 female & 3 male). The Board of Governors consists of 9 members comprising people from different school of thoughts i.e. educationists, lawyers, development managers and religious scholars from all faith. Members of the Board of Governors meet on Bi-Annual basis while Executive Committee meets on regular monthly basis. Apart from this SEAP-Pakistan has a large membership of more than 200 of general members. An educated person having orientation about the community development and awareness about the basic human rights can become a member of the organization. SEAP is determined to work for the educational needs of the Masses and Community Institutions in order to empower the poor and marginalized communities without any discrimination of caste, creed or faith in Pakistan.
