Nirmala, 13, stands proud in the arid Thar Desert beside the tiny kitchen garden he has nurtured, each green sprout a triumph over hunger. His joy echoes an experience: “My plant made me happy,” he says, underscoring how nurturing life builds well-being. His success exemplifies the idea that kitchen gardens are an act of adaptation and resilience. He is literally reclaiming control over what he eats.

Badin Development Organization amplifies stories like Nirmala across entire regions. BDO own “Green Vegetable Garden” program is “a visionary project aimed at fostering environmental sustainability and community self-reliance.

With your generosity, thousands of families can transform empty land into food sources. The next time you eat a tomato or spinach, remember there are children in need of exactly that, children like Nirmala, who need little help to feed themselves.

ڈینگی مچھروں کی وجہ سے پھیلنے والی ایک بیماری ہے جو کہ ڈہنگی وائرس کی وجہ سے ہوتی ہے۔ ڈینگی کی علامات میں تیز بخار، جوڑوں اور پٹھوں میں درد، مسوڑوں اور ناک سے خون آنا، متلی اور قے وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔ ڈینگی سے بچائو میں مچھروں کی افزائش کی روک تھام، اور ان سے بچنا اہم ترین اقدام ہے۔

Floods in Punjab have already claimed 46 lives and affected more than 3.5 million people. 🏚️ Thousands of families are displaced, villages submerged, and livelihoods destroyed.

According to PDMA Punjab, over 1.49 million people have been rescued, more than 1 million animals saved, and 25,000–30,000 people are living in relief camps. Yet, the struggle continues.
