Today, we pay tribute to the visionary ruler, Maharana Sanga Ji (Maharana Sangram Singh I) on his birth anniversary.
Born in 1482, Maharana Sanga was the ruler of Mewar and one of the bravest Rajput kings in Rajput history. He united various Rajput clans and built a powerful kingdom that stood firmly against foreign invasions. His courage and leadership made him a symbol of Rajput pride and resistance.
Maharana Sanga fought numerous battles and is said to have sustained many severe injuries in warfare losing an eye, an arm, and bearing multiple wounds yet he never stepped back from the battlefield. His indomitable spirit and dedication to his land remain unmatched.
One of the most significant moments of his life was his confrontation with Babur in the historic Battle of Khanwa in 1527. Despite facing a well equipped Mughal army, Maharana Sanga displayed extraordinary bravery and determination.
He was not just a warrior but also a unifier who brought together Rajput forces against invaders, inspiring generations with his valor, sacrifice, and leadership.
On this day, we remember Maharana Sanga Ji as a true hero who lived and fought for honor, courage, and his motherland.
