Serving Voiceless Animals: Another Welfare Initiative by Wali Foundation
Following the establishment of the Wali Abad Animal Hospital, organized by the Livestock Department, Government of Sindh, the Wali Foundation continued its commitment to community service by holding a one-day free veterinary and vaccination camp on the occasion of 10th Muharram-ul-Haram.
A record number of over 1,150 animals, including camels, cows, sheep, and goats, were brought to this camp from Wali Abad and its surrounding areas for free check-ups, treatment, and vaccination.
During the camp, veterinary doctors Dr. Hot Damani and Dr. Shahdev Lohana conducted detailed examinations of the animals, administering protective vaccines and medicines to prevent seasonal diseases, flu, and deworming.
Along with this, essential vitamins and medicines were also provided for chickens and peacocks. The Foundation arranged free fodder and clean drinking water for all the animals brought to the camp, while livestock owners were given useful guidance regarding animal care during the intense summer heat.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our entire veterinary staff, honorable doctors, and the dedicated volunteers of the Wali Foundation. Despite the severe heat, your tireless efforts and selfless service made this charitable initiative a huge success. We are deeply proud of your spirit.
Vaccines and emergency medicines are readily available at the Wali Abad Animal Hospital. All local livestock owners are encouraged to fully benefit from this free and quality facility.
Dr. Nobat Khan Khoso, Director of Animal Husbandry Sindh, has always provided his valuable support for this camp and the Wali Abad Animal Hospital. Thank you for your public service.
