📢 Press Briefing on Budget Transparency

Today, Dharti Development Foundation, with the support of Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI), organized a Press Briefing at the DDF Office.

👥 The event was attended by people from different schools of thought, along with respected media representatives.

📊 During the session, detailed discussions were held on budget transparency, public participation, and accountability, highlighting key findings from the State of Budget Transparency Report 2025.

💧 A Gift of Water – A Blessing in Ramadan 🌙

During the blessed month of Ramadan, Dharti Development Foundation, with the generous support of Islamic Help and their respected donors, has successfully constructed a Water Well in the desert areas of Taluka Thari Mirwah and Nara, District Khairpur Mirs, Sindh.

This water well is providing safe drinking water to communities living in remote desert areas where access to clean water is extremely difficult. Through this initiative:

• 40 households are benefiting
• Around 200 community members now have access to clean water
• More than 500 cows, camels, and other livestock can drink safely from this source

For desert communities, water is not only a necessity for people but also a lifeline for their livestock and livelihoods.

Dharti Development Foundation always strives to serve the poorest and most disadvantaged communities, ensuring that essential facilities like safe drinking water reach those who need them the most.

💧 Clean Water for Communities 💧

Dharti Development Foundation, with the generous support of Mission Salam and other valued donors, has successfully installed 300 hand pumps in various villages of District Naushahero Feroze and District Khairpur Mirs, Sindh.

These hand pumps are providing safe and clean drinking water to hundreds of poor and deserving families who previously faced serious difficulties in accessing clean water. This initiative is improving health, hygiene, and the daily lives of the community, especially for women and children who often travel long distances to fetch water.

🌙 Ramadan Iftar for the Needy Community 🤲

Dharti Development Foundation, with the generous support of Mission Salam, organized a Daily Iftar Dinner for the poorest families at Village Chatto Machi, UC Shaikhani, Taluka Kandiaro, District Naushahero Feroze.

More than 220 people including boys, girls, and elders joined this blessed Iftar gathering. The participants were served a delicious Iftar meal including Biryani, fresh fruits, and Sharbat, bringing happiness and relief to many deserving families.

This Iftar program was specially arranged for poor children, families, and elders, so they could break their fast with dignity and joy during the holy month of Ramadan.

Dharti Development Foundation expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mission Salam and its generous donors whose kindness made this noble initiative possible. Their support is helping bring hope and smiles to the most vulnerable communities.

🌙 Ramadan Iftar Program for Poor Community

Alhamdulillah! 🤲

Dharti Development Foundation (DDF), with the generous support of Mission Salaam, organized a Roza Iftar Program at Village Gul Mohammad Shar, UC Akari, Taluka Faiz Ganj, District Khairpur Mirs.

Dharti Development Foundation always works for poor and marginalized communities. This special Iftar program was arranged for around 200 children (boys & girls) and community members from villages where poverty is very high.

The Iftar meal included:
🍛 Biryani
🍉 Fresh Fruits
🥤 Sharbat

The children and community members were very happy and thankful for this support during the blessed month of Ramadan.

🌙 Construction of Wazu Khana in Ramadan

Alhamdulillah!

Dharti Development Foundation (DDF), with the generous support of donors, has successfully completed the construction of a Wazu Khana (Ablution Area) at the Mosque in Village Gahi Khan Jalbani, UC Dehat, Taluka Mehrabpur during the blessed month of Ramadan.

This facility will help the local community perform Wazu (ablution) easily before prayers, especially during Ramadan and daily prayers. The community is very happy and grateful, and they are sincerely praying for the donors who supported this noble cause.

DDF team also extends heartfelt thanks and prayers for all supporters who make such community projects possible.

🙏 We humbly request all supporters and donors to continue supporting us, as there are still many mosques in poor villages where Wazu Khana facilities are not available. With your support, we can provide these essential facilities to more communities in need.

Dharti Development Foundation, with the generous support of Mission Salaam, has been arranging a daily Iftar program since the first day of Ramadan for children and people from very poor communities.

In this Iftar program, 150–200 children and community members participate every day. The Iftar meal includes:

🍉 Fresh Fruits
🍛 Biryani
🥤 Sharbat

This initiative is providing happiness and relief to many needy children and families who otherwise struggle to arrange Iftar during the holy month of Ramadan.

We are very thankful to Mission Salaam and their generous donors whose kindness and support are helping poor and deserving people during this blessed month.
