The Help Orphans and Widows through Education & Employment (HOWEE) has a dire need to raise funds for their Job Creation Project in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwah (KPK), Pakistan and to fund its projects for Orphans’ education. It will be a registered Welfare and Not for Profit Organization (NPO) with the Department of Social Development (DoSD), a Government Department) as well as with the Federal Board of
Revenue (FBR) as a Public Benefit Organization (PBO). The latter is to the benefit of contributors as they can exempt donations from tax in Pakistan. HOWEE focuses on providing intervention for orphans as well as food support, education and skills training for widows and their families. It renders the following services:
• Foster care placement
• Food support
• Educare centres
• Safe house - for Children & Widows
Welfare Safe House to be established later following the circumstances of the available funds and public support to the organization which solely will serve as a short term crisis home for women and children who have been abandoned or exposed to be abused, and who need emergency placement at any time of the day or night. Certain percent of the proceeds of the donations will be utilized on this project.
