Omeed Ki Kiran Foundation is a social, non-Profitable and non-governmental Organization in the field of Health & Social Development. The foundation is registered with Registrar joint stock companies and societies under societies act XXI, 1860 , Health Care Commission (HCC) & KP Charity Commission government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and certified by Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (P*P Islamabad) and

recognized NPO (Non-Profit Organization) by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR, Pakistan) under section 2 (36) of income tax ordinance 2001, member of Thalassaemia Federation of Pakistan & member of Pakistan Society of Nephrology and working since 2013. Omeed Ki Kiran Foundation has a Gynae Welfare Hospital and Thalassaemia Center in Mardan. The hospital is providing health services to poor and vulnerable patients suffering from deadly disease of Thalassaemia.It also provides services to general patients Gynae-Obs and Chronic Renal Failures (CRF) in the form of haemo-dialysis without any discrimination of race, color, religion or ethnicity. The hospital is providing health services to Thalassaemia patients (in the form of packed cell, transfusion & iron chellation to prevent complications from iron overload), Hemo-Dialysis is carried out in supervision of nephrologists by trained and qualified staff in two shifts, Gynae-Obs facilities are provided round the clock. More then, 500 thalassaemia patients have been registered with foundation. Emergency and relief activities, Free Medical Camps for down trodden communities, communities are facilitated with tube well for the purposes of safe and clean drinking water. This is also use for agriculture, livestock purposes enabling them in their small business in their area. VISION: To serve humanity and bring a hope of life among deprived people who are in sufferings. Mission: To ensure free & standard health service for Vulnerable and poor people, prevention of the thalassaemia and gynae-obs. Goal:
To ensure equal rights of Children such Health, Education
Clean Drinking water, to protect the child from abuse and child
Labour. Objectives:
(1) To ensure free cure to children through welfare hospital & thalassaemia center
(2) To ensure standard health services for poor & vulnerable people with kidney failures and deadly disease of thalassaemia
(3) Protection of human rights and clean and clear environment
(4) Peace & security, Legal Aid, HRD & Political Education
(5) Free Medical Camps, Emergency Relief and rehabilitation

Focus on:
(1) Water supplies infrastructure & sanitation. (3) Human and Institutional Development. (4) Fights against social evils like beggary, drug addiction and child labour.

The TBH team, consisting of MBBS and BDS students from Bacha Khan Medical College, visited Omeed Ki Kiran Foundation, Mardan. During their visit, the students met with thalassaemia patients and their parents, expressing care and support for them. The team also distributed gifts among the thalassaemia patients, bringing smiles and encouragement to the children.
On this occasion, Mr. Imran Khan, Chairman of Omeed Ki Kiran Foundation, presented appreciation certificates to the medical students in recognition of their kind support and participation in this noble cause.

JZT Team Mardan visited OMEED KI KIRAN FOUNDATION and met with Thalassaemia patients. During the visit, Dr. Shaista Akhtar briefed the team about Thalassaemia, its causes, and preventive measures.

The team generously distributed winter kits among the patients, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony with the children to bring smiles and warmth.

*Imran Khan (Mardan Khas)* is the *Founder and Chairman* of *Omeed Ki Kiran Foundation Mardan*, established in *2013*. The foundation’s first initiative was launched in the same year for the noble cause of *Thalassaemia*, and to date, over *600 Thalassaemia patients* have been registered and supported.

In *2016*, the foundation expanded its services by establishing a *Gynae & Obstetrics Unit*, followed by a *Dialysis Welfare Unit* in *2018*.

Imran Khan is known for his *noble character*, *compassionate nature*, and *philanthropic spirit*.

The hospital is equipped with latest equipments/Machines according to international standards, under supervision of qualified and expert staff.

Omeed Ki Kiran Foundation facilitating the poor patients in the following sectors.

1. Thalassaemia Unit is providing screened and properly cross matched packed cells (Blood Transfusions), and necessary medications free of cost/ zero charges. This unit is treating 500 patients, majority of which are Thalassaemic and the remaining include patients with other blood disorders like, Aplastic Anemia, Glanzmann thrombasthenia, Haemophilia etc.
