Widespread Rain/thundershower with gusty winds is very likely in Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Chitral (Upper & Lower), Dir (Upper & Lower), Swat, Buner, Malakand, Battagram, Shangla, Kohistan (Upper & Lower), Kolai Pallas, Bajaur, Swabi and Torghar districts.
Scattered Rain/thundershower with gusty winds is likely over Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Tank, North and South Waziristan districts.
Isolated to scattered heavy falls are also expected during the forecast period.
*Possible Impacts and advices:*
Heavy to very heavy rains may generate flash floods in local nullah/streams of Galliyat, Mansehra, Kohistan (Upper & Lower), Kolai Pallas Kohistan Abbottabad, Battagram, Torghar, Chitral (Upper & Lower), Dir (Upper & Lower),Bajaur, Swat, Shangla, Swabi, Mardan and Kurram during the forecast period whereas urban flooding is very likely in low lying areas of Mardan, Nowshera and Peshawar districts.
Riverine flood is likely in Chitral, Swat, Panjkora and Kabul rivers.
Landslides may cause roads closure in the vulnerable hilly areas of Abbottabad, Battagram, Chitral (Upper & Lower), Dir (Upper & Lower), Khyber, Kohistan (Upper & Lower), Kolai Pallas Kohistan, Kurram, Mansehra, Shangla, Swat, Torghar and North Waziristan.
Heavy falls/windstorm and lightning may damage weak structures like roof/wall of Kacha houses, electric poles, bill boards, vehicles and solar panels etc., during the forecast period.
Farmers are advised to manage their activities keeping in view the weather forecast.
Public, Travelers and tourists are advised to avoid travelling in the vulnerable areas of the province in order to save their lives during the severe weather conditions.
