Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders | Saibaan Youth Leadership Initiative

At Saibaan Development Organisation Pakistan, we believe that investing in youth leadership is investing in a brighter future. Through the Saibaan Youth Leadership Initiative (SYLI), we are committed to nurturing young minds by providing practical learning opportunities, professional mentoring, and leadership development.

Every year, university graduates and students receive hands-on training through our structured internship and on-the-job learning programs. To bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice, Saibaan has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading universities and academic institutions.

We are delighted to welcome a group of undergraduate students from the Department of Public Policy and Administration, Hazara University Mansehra, who have joined Saibaan Head Office for their internship program.

Today's Orientation Session introduced the interns to Saibaan's vision, mission, core values, organizational culture, development programs, and professional expectations. We hope this experience will equip them with practical skills, ethical values, and the confidence to become future leaders and change-makers.

We warmly welcome our interns and wish them a productive, inspiring, and successful learning journey with Saibaan.

Together, we are developing leaders for a sustainable future.

KNH Pakistan Delegation Meets Saibaan Board of Governors

A meeting of the Board of Governors of Saibaan Development Organization Pakistan was held with the delegation from Kindernothilfe (KNH) Pakistan to discuss organizational progress, strategic priorities, and future collaboration for sustainable community development.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Muhammad Hafeez Khan (Vice Chair), Mr. Mazhar Ali Khan (online), Mr. Khurram Ehtisham, Mr. Ehtisham Ul Qayyum Khan, and Dr. Sahibzada Jawad Alfaizi, Ex-Officio Member and CEO of Saibaan Development Organization Pakistan. Chairperson Ms. Sadia Ijaz and Ms. Buahra Aziz could not manage due to prior commitments.

During the meeting, participants reviewed ongoing initiatives and exchanged views on strengthening partnerships to advance child rights and protection, quality education, women's empowerment, climate resilience, and inclusive community development. The Board appreciated the continued collaboration with KNH Pakistan and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting sustainable and impactful development initiatives that benefit vulnerable communities.

Together, Saibaan Development Organization Pakistan and KNH Pakistan remain committed to building stronger, safer, and more resilient communities through partnership, innovation, and shared responsibility.

A productive meeting was held with the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief & Human Rights), Mansehra, Mr. Asad Mehmood Lodhi, to discuss key priorities for inclusive and sustainable community development.

The delegation from Kindernothilfe (KNH) Pakistan, comprising Mr. Khurram Tauqeer, Mr. Muhammad Adil, and Mr. Ali Shan, accompanied by Dr. Sahibzada Jawad Alfaizi, CEO of Saibaan Development Organization Pakistan, and Mr. Aamir Saeed, Program Manager, called on the ADC (Relief & Human Rights) at his office.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration in the areas of child rights and protection, women’s empowerment, climate change adaptation, education, and community resilience. The participants also exchanged views on enhancing coordination between government institutions and development partners to ensure sustainable and people-centered initiatives across District Mansehra.

Saibaan Development Organization Pakistan and KNH Pakistan reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with the district administration to promote the well-being, protection, and empowerment of vulnerable communities.

Strengthening Partnerships for Better Educational Outcomes

The team from Kindernothilfe (KNH) Pakistan visited the Saibaan Development Organization Head Office and later toured the CCACCA Project intervention area to observe ongoing activities and engage with the local community.

As part of the visit, the KNH Pakistan team held a productive meeting with the Sub-Divisional Education Officer (SDEO), Baffa, at his office. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for mutual collaboration to enhance educational opportunities and community development initiatives in the region.

The SDEO shared an overview of the department's ongoing interventions and highlighted key priorities in the education sector. Both sides discussed potential areas of cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to working together to improve access to quality education and strengthen community resilience.

Saibaan Development Organization values such collaborative engagements and looks forward to building strong partnerships with government departments and development partners for sustainable impact.
