🌟I Am Going to School Vs. I Am Going to the School 🌟
In this video, you will learn the clear difference between “school” and “the school” in simple Urdu with easy examples. 📚 Learn English in a simple and practical way only on
Nadeem English Skills 🔹03226800720🔹…🔹03083333025🔹
1️⃣ I am going to school.
👉 Meaning:
(As a student — for study purpose.)
🔹 Here “school” is used in a general sense.
🔹 We do NOT use “the” when we talk about the primary purpose of a place.
Just like:
• I am going to school. (to study)
• She is in hospital. (as a patient – British English)
• He is at work. (working)
Here, the focus is on the purpose, not the building.
________________________________________
2️⃣ I am going to the school.
👉 Meaning:
Main us school ki building mein ja raha hoon.
(Not necessarily to study.)
🔹 Here “the school” means a specific school building.
🔹 You may be going there for:
• a meeting
• to pick someone
• to attend a function
• to meet the principal
Example:
• I am going to the school to meet the headmaster.
• My father is going to the school for a parents’ meeting.
