The affected boats include:

Fishers on board: 11
3. Makhri (Registration No. 12424-B)

Captain: Asghar Thaimoor
Fishers on board: 6
According to information gathered directly from the fisherfolk community, the 29 fishers associated with these three boats managed to return and reached their home communities on 12 September 2026.
However, the fourth boat and the fishers on board have still not returned to their home area, Chhachh Jehan Khan. Their families and the wider fisherfolk community continue to wait anxiously for reliable information regarding their safety and return.
Noori Development Foundation stands in solidarity with the affected families and the fisherfolk community. We call upon the relevant authorities to urgently establish the whereabouts and status of the remaining boat and fishers, ensure that their families receive timely and accurate information, and take all necessary measures for their safe return.
This information was first received by Syeda Yasmeen Ali Shah through direct community sources. She immediately coordinated with members of the fisherfolk community to verify and compile the available information and bring the situation to public attention.
For coastal and fishing communities, incidents such as these are not merely maritime or border-related issues—they are humanitarian and livelihood concerns that directly affect families, women, children and already vulnerable communities.
