Sindh Abadgar Forum Holds Peace Conference in Gharo, Emphasizes Youth Education, Skills, and Sports
A grand Peace Conference was organized by the Sindh Abadgar Forum at the local Paradise Hall in Gharo. The event was attended by the Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Naveed Anthony, as the chief guest.
Among the distinguished participants were SSP Thatta Sajid Amir Sadozai, DSP Sakro Muhammad Ali Dhamrah, Social Welfare Officer Khuda Bakhsh Behrani, Syed Sikandar Shah, Murtaza Panhwar, along with representatives from political, social, religious, literary, journalistic, business, agricultural, NGO, and industrial sectors. A large number of young people, scholars, writers, journalists, traders, and members of civil society also attended the conference.
Addressing the gathering, SSP Thatta Sajid Amir Sadozai stated, “No matter how influential a drug dealer may be, they will no longer escape the grip of the law.” He emphasized that strict action against drug traffickers would continue without discrimination and that every possible effort would be made to protect the youth from the menace of drugs.
On the occasion, Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly Naveed Anthony stressed that encouraging young people toward positive activities, quality education, vocational skills, and sports is the need of the hour. He said that the youth are the future of the country, and collective efforts are essential to nurture and develop their talents.
The event organizers, Dr. Muhammad Afzal Arain (Chairman, Sindh Abadgar Forum) and Saleh Muhammad Chandio, also addressed the audience. They said that Thatta District holds a unique and distinguished identity across the country, and they are committed to preserving and further enhancing its reputation through dedicated teamwork.
They further highlighted that the region offers significant opportunities for development, investment, and employment, urging local youth to benefit from these prospects. They added that continuous efforts are being made to provide young people with training, guidance, and opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.
