FYP-I Evaluation Sessions 2026 🎓 | School of Informatics & Robotics

The School of Informatics & Robotics successfully conducted the Final Year Project-I (FYP-I) Evaluation Sessions 2026.

The evaluation sessions provided students with an opportunity to present their project ideas, progress, methodologies, and proposed solutions before the faculty evaluation panel.

We are proud to share that all faculty members, including the HOD and Dean, actively participated in the FYP-I evaluations, providing valuable feedback and guidance to our graduating students. 👏

Hands-On Learning in Digital Logic Design! 💻⚡

The Department of Computer Science, School of Informatics & Robotics successfully conducted a Workshop on Digital Logic Design (DLD) featuring a hands-on lab and interactive learning session.

The workshop was led by Sheikh Babar Hameed, who provided students with practical training on various Digital Logic Design equipment and tools, helping them strengthen their understanding of digital systems through real-time experimentation and demonstrations.

Empowering Faculty Through Artificial Intelligence: Faculty Development Program at School of Informatics & Robotics 🤖📚

The School of Informatics & Robotics continues its commitment to academic excellence and innovation by organizing impactful faculty development initiatives under the leadership of Dr. Sardar Usman, Head of Department.

As part of the Faculty Development Program for Cohort 1, Cycle 2025, a specialized session titled “AI in Teaching and Learning” was conducted on 10 August 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Computer Lab.

The session was delivered by Dr. Yousaf Murtaza Rind, Solutions Architect – AI, GICOH, Gourmet, who shared valuable insights into the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in modern education, innovative teaching methodologies, and AI-driven learning practices.

The initiative, launched under the vision of Worthy Prof. Dr. Najma Najam, Chancellor IAC, reflects the department’s dedication to enhancing faculty capabilities, promoting technological advancement, and aligning with HEC faculty development requirements.

Industry Advisory Board (IAB) Meeting at IAC – School of Informatics & Robotics

The School of Informatics & Robotics at IAC successfully conducted an online meeting of the Industry Advisory Board (IAB), bringing together industry experts and academic representatives to discuss ways to strengthen academic programs and enhance students’ professional readiness.

The discussion focused on aligning Final Year Projects (FYPs) with industry requirements, integrating emerging computing technologies into the curriculum, enhancing Industry–Academia collaboration, expanding internship opportunities, improving graduate employability, and promoting professional certifications and skill-based learning initiatives.

The valuable insights and recommendations shared by industry professionals will help the School of Informatics & Robotics continue to develop innovative, market-oriented programs and prepare students for future challenges in the technology sector.
