Houbara Foundation International Pakistan

Houbara Foundation International Pakistan Conserving Houbara Bustard & Wildlife since 1995 🌍 | HFIP supports Sustainable Hunting & Nature Protection under UAE patronage πŸ•ŠοΈ

Houbara Foundation was established in 1995 for conservation of the Houbara Bustard, a shy and beautiful wild bird which migrates from the Central Asian States to Pakistan every year in the winters and returns to its breeding grounds after the wintering season. The Foundation works in collaboration with reputed conservation organizations and law-enforcement authorities to curb the trends of over-hu

nted, illegal trapping and loss of habitats due to over-grazing which contribute to the decline. For conservation of the species, the Foundation places strong emphasis on welfare and poverty alleviation of habitat communities with which the houbara co-exists. These communities live harsh lives without basic amenities, like health-care, potable water, education, skills, communication infra-structure and employment. Betterment of their lives contributes to greater protection of the Houbara.

πŸ“’ Important Information Regarding HFIP Internship Applications

Houbara Foundation International Pakistan (HFIP) has recently received a large number of CVs, internship requests, and job inquiries through WhatsApp, email, and social media platforms. We highly appreciate the interest shown by students and young veterinary professionals in our conservation and internship programs.

However, we would like to clarify that HFIP does not process internship applications submitted directly through WhatsApp, personal contacts, social media messages, or email.

HFIP follows a formal and transparent selection process in collaboration with partner universities through signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).

Currently, internship nominations are primarily received through:

πŸŽ“ University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore & Jhang Campus
πŸŽ“ Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CUVAS), Bahawalpur
πŸŽ“ The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB)
πŸŽ“ Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) (selected nominations)

The procedure is as follows:

βœ… Universities shortlist eligible students through their own selection process.
βœ… The approved list is officially forwarded to HFIP Head Office Lahore through the concerned Dean/Faculty on official letterhead.
βœ… Shortlisted candidates are interviewed by HFIP management.
βœ… Final selected candidates are then assigned to HFIP field stations for internship training.

Therefore, students are advised to contact their respective universities regarding internship opportunities and application procedures rather than sending CVs directly to HFIP officials or HFIP email addresses.

Please note that direct submissions through WhatsApp, personal contacts, social media messages, or general emails will not be considered under the current internship selection process.

We thank all students for their interest in HFIP and encourage them to pursue the proper channel through their universities for future internship opportunities.
