Roshni Association Roshni Village is a living community working for and with people with special needs. Roshni Association has two projects:

1. Box 11073, D.H.A. Acc.

Roshni Village: A living community for special adults (above 16 years) where they also work in art, textiles, wood workshops and even a bakery and farm. These workshops hone artistic craft and social skills in everyone. A firm emphasis on the balance of work both indoors and outdoors, as well as sports, arts, and cultural activities provide a fulfilling mixture for students and volunteers alike.



2. Green Earth Roshni School: It is the only Waldorf school in Pakistan providing low cost education to around 150 poor village children from kindergarten to grade 8. The Waldorf system aims to provide education with sensitivity and a deep understanding of the children and their needs. Send us your Donations:

Building Partnerships for Inclusive Healthcare & Hope

Roshni Association was honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Akhtar Sohail Chughtai, Founder & Chairman of Chughtai Lab, during his recent visit to our organization. He was warmly received by Roshni's Board Members, Dr. Mehmood Shaukat, Dr. Farkhanda Ghafoor, Mr. Muhammad Zahid Durrani, Mr. Tariq Habib Mirza, and Mr. Munawar Ali Noon, who briefed him on Roshni's core projects, achievements, and unwavering commitment to empowering people with special needs.

After visiting our facilities, Dr. Chughtai highly appreciated Roshni's holistic approach to inclusive education, rehabilitation, and community-based services. He expressed his keen interest in collaborating with Roshni by extending diagnostic healthcare services through Chughtai Lab. A follow-up visit by his medical team is planned to identify key areas where this partnership can best support the children and adults we serve.

Growing Together Through Waldorf Learning

Green Earth Roshni School successfully hosted a four-day Summer Break Waldorf Workshop, bringing together educators, trainers, and guests in a journey of learning, creativity, and professional growth. Through engaging sessions on The Four Temperaments, Handwork & Storytelling, and the 12 Senses of Human Development, participants explored innovative Waldorf approaches to understanding and nurturing children.

The workshop welcomed educators from Shamool Foundation, Gulmohar Kindergarten, and an international participant from Germany, creating a rich environment of collaboration and shared learning. The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony led by Mr. Muhammad Zahid Durrani and Ms. Munirah, celebrating the participants’ commitment to holistic and child-centered education.

Together, we continue to inspire, learn, and grow—building brighter futures for children through the transformative principles of Waldorf education.

The Roshni Association warmly invites you to participate in our annual Natural Dyeing Workshop, a tradition we have proudly sustained since 2007—keeping alive valuable traditional skills.

Roshni Association had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Izhar Ul Haq Hashmi, Director, Punjab Welfare Trust for the Disabled and Mr. Amir Saeed Bhatti, CEO & Founder, Khudi Welfare Organization during their recent visit to Roshni Association and Green Earth Roshni School.

During the visit, they observed our ongoing initiatives and appreciated the noble efforts of Roshni in promoting inclusive education, rehabilitation, and empowerment of persons with special needs.

♿ Restoring Mobility, Renewing Hope: Assistive Devices Distribution at Roshni

The Roshni Association proudly distributed manual and customized wheelchairs and walkers among the deserving beneficiaries of our CBR Project, enabling greater mobility, independence, and dignity in their daily lives.

With the generous support of Muslim Charity, a total of 22 Active Manual Wheelchairs (with branding & cushions), 5 CP Chairs (Refurbished Japanese), and 3 Walkers were provided to those in need.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Muslim Charity, especially Mr. Irfan Rajput and Mr. Zubair Shah, for their unwavering support, kind efforts, and strong commitment to Roshni’s mission. Together, we continue to transform lives and bring hope to those who need it most.
