Roshni Association

Roshni Association Roshni Village is a living community working for and with people with special needs. Roshni Association has two projects:

1. Box 11073, D.H.A. Acc.

Roshni Village: A living community for special adults (above 16 years) where they also work in art, textiles, wood workshops and even a bakery and farm. These workshops hone artistic craft and social skills in everyone. A firm emphasis on the balance of work both indoors and outdoors, as well as sports, arts, and cultural activities provide a fulfilling mixture for students and volunteers alike.

2. Green Earth Roshni School: It is the only Waldorf school in Pakistan providing low cost education to around 150 poor village children from kindergarten to grade 8. The Waldorf system aims to provide education with sensitivity and a deep understanding of the children and their needs. Send us your Donations:

🌟 25 Years of Roshni — Celebrating Inclusion, Achievement & Hope 🌟

Roshni Association proudly celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a unique and joyful gathering of our dedicated staff, special friends, Roshni CBR beneficiaries, and Green Earth Roshni School students.

The celebration came alive with group painting activities, music, fun-filled moments, and vibrant tableau performances, reflecting the creativity, abilities, and spirit of our special community. 🎨🎶✨

The President, Dr. Farkhanda Ghafoor, Senior Vice President, Dr. Mahmood Shaukat, and Board Members Mr. Ijaz Rao and Mr. Munawar Ali Noon joined the celebrations and participated in the cake-cutting ceremony.

Addressing the gathering, General Secretary Mr. Muhammad Zahid Durrani highlighted Roshni’s significant milestones and achievements since its inception, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to moving forward with renewed vision and greater determination to serve and empower people with special needs.

25 years of service, countless lives touched, and a future filled with greater possibilities.

گرین ارتھ روشنی اسکول میں عید میلاد النبی صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نہایت منفرد، بامقصد اور روحانی انداز میں منائی گئی۔ طلبہ نے سیرتِ طیبہ ﷺ پر مبنی معلوماتی کوئز مقابلے میں بھرپور جوش و جذبے سے حصہ لیا، جبکہ تلاوتِ قرآنِ پاک کے پُرسوز مقابلے نے تقریب کو مزید روحانی کیفیت سے منور کر دیا۔

درجہ پنجم تا ہشتم کے طلبہ نے حضور اکرم ﷺ کی تعلیمات، کردار اور اسوۂ حسنہ سے اپنی آگاہی کا شاندار مظاہرہ کیا۔ نمایاں کارکردگی دکھانے والے طلبہ میں نقد انعامات بھی تقسیم کیے گئے۔

یہ خوبصورت تقریب اس پیغام کے ساتھ اختتام پذیر ہوئی کہ حضور اکرم ﷺ سے حقیقی محبت صرف اظہار میں نہیں بلکہ آپ ﷺ کی تعلیمات کو سمجھنے، اپنانے اور اپنی زندگیوں میں عملی طور پر نافذ کرنے میں ہے۔ 🌹

روشنی ایسوسی ایشن کے CBR پروجیکٹ کی مختلف دیہی یونٹس میں جشنِ عید میلاد النبی صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نہایت عقیدت و محبت سے منایا گیا۔ اس بابرکت موقع پر خصوصی بچوں اور ان کے اہلِ خانہ نے بھرپور شرکت کی اور نعتِ رسولِ مقبول ﷺ پیش کرکے حضور اکرم ﷺ کی بارگاہِ اقدس میں خراجِ عقیدت پیش کیا۔

محفل کا روحانی ماحول محبتِ رسول ﷺ، عقیدت اور خوشیوں سے معمور رہا۔ خصوصی بچوں کی پُرخلوص نعت خوانی نے اس موقع کو مزید خوبصورت اور یادگار بنا دیا۔

روشنی ایسوسی ایشن کا عزم ہے کہ خصوصی افراد اور ان کے خاندانوں کو معاشرے کا فعال، باوقار اور برابر کا حصہ بنانے کے ساتھ ساتھ محبت، خدمتِ خلق اور انسانیت کے جذبے کو فروغ دیا جائے۔

روشنی ایسوسی ایشن میں عید میلاد النبی صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نہایت عقیدت، محبت اور جوش و خروش سے منائی گئی۔ خصوصی دوستوں، بچوں اور اسٹاف نے اس بابرکت موقع پر بھرپور شرکت کی اور نعتِ رسولِ مقبول ، درود و سلام اور خوبصورت پیشکشوں کے ذریعے اپنی عقیدت کا اظہار کیا۔

یہ روحانی اور پُرمسرت موقع ہمیں رحمت، محبت، خدمتِ خلق، برداشت اور انسانیت** کے اُن عظیم اصولوں کی یاد دلاتا ہے جو حضور اکرم کی سیرتِ طیبہ کا روشن پیغام ہیں۔

Green Earth Roshni School celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with patriotic spirit, featuring inspiring speeches, national songs, and creative performances by students. Despite the summer holidays, students celebrated at school, in their homes, and communities.

Roshni Association warmly welcomed Dr. Haris from Chughtai Lab on a follow-up visit to explore meaningful ways to extend diagnostic and healthcare support for people with special needs. The visit reflects the growing commitment towards accessible and inclusive healthcare services.

Our General Secretary, Mr. Muhammad Zahid Durrani, facilitated the visit and briefed Dr. Haris about Roshni’s ongoing programs and the healthcare needs of the people we serve.

Building Partnerships for Inclusive Healthcare & Hope

Roshni Association was honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Akhtar Sohail Chughtai, Founder & Chairman of Chughtai Lab, during his recent visit to our organization. He was warmly received by Roshni's Board Members, Dr. Mehmood Shaukat, Dr. Farkhanda Ghafoor, Mr. Muhammad Zahid Durrani, Mr. Tariq Habib Mirza, and Mr. Munawar Ali Noon, who briefed him on Roshni's core projects, achievements, and unwavering commitment to empowering people with special needs.

After visiting our facilities, Dr. Chughtai highly appreciated Roshni's holistic approach to inclusive education, rehabilitation, and community-based services. He expressed his keen interest in collaborating with Roshni by extending diagnostic healthcare services through Chughtai Lab. A follow-up visit by his medical team is planned to identify key areas where this partnership can best support the children and adults we serve.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Dr. Akhtar Sohail Chughtai for taking the time to visit Roshni, for his encouragement, and for his vision of working together to improve the quality of healthcare for persons with special needs.
