SHE Celebrating womanhood in Pakistan Even amongst the educated masses, female birth is still a stigma for families, especially multiple girls in a single family.

Mission:
SHE is a celebration of womanhood in Pakistan reflecting a positive role of females in the country in order to motivate and inspire other females of all age groups and walks of life. Background:
Pakistan is a country where religious and cultural extremism is gravely infused in every aspect of life; which in turn inhibits the educational and profes

sional growth of females in the society. Gender discrimination is extremely high in the society. Good education, good jobs, dreaming big and thinking different have been categorized as something for the sons of the house only. Mostly, a girl is expected to have only a relatively acceptable level of education (a more educated girl is stigmatized as being sharp or cunning), and even when she opts for a career, her options are limited to being a teacher, a doctor or an average employee in a corporate firm. A girl with bigger dreams (for example higher degree, studying abroad, being entrepreneurial, running her own business and so on) has to face that single dream-killer phrase: “What will the society say?”
But this is just the flip side for women in Pakistan. There’s a brighter and more positive side to us Pakistani women as well: where females of the country are setting remarkable examples not only at a local level but globally as well. There is a side where females are not just confined to being a teacher or a doctor but have opted to be fashion designers, models, astronauts, fighter pilots, mountaineers, software experts, social entrepreneurs and much more! There is a side of Pakistan, where unlike the usual media projection and international political propaganda, girls can walk around freely without forcefully being ordered to cover their heads or wear a “hijab” and still hold values of integrity and piety. There is a side where girls are motivated to study as much as they like, set their career paths and make wise choices for marriage and family planning. This is what SHE is all about. It is a celebration of womanhood in Pakistan. Not bound by any age restrictions, socio-cultural barriers or biases on economic parameters. The basic idea behind SHE is to reflect the positive side of Pakistani community and the role of women in the country while addressing issues of women empowerment, gender equity, female literacy, celebration of female birth and other related topics. This way, SHE is a motivational force and a bench mark for all those aspiring females trying to make their dreams come true. SHE aims in providing opportunities for likeminded individuals to connect, explore and excel at a larger level.

C for Strength 🤍

Today’s She Circle, dedicated to our incredible cancer warriors, was deeply emotional.
Our support group setups are intimate — so we can’t reveal all that happened — but what we witnessed was truly powerful.

Stories of resilience.
Tears of healing.
Hugs of hope.
And conversations that broke so many taboos we rarely talk about.

Today was about reflecting and releasing.
About accepting, appreciating, and being grateful for the greatest gift — life itself.

We left with hearts a little lighter, faith a little stronger, and gratitude a lot deeper.
Because being able to live tomorrow — even better, stronger and more purposefully — is a blessing we often forget.

Today was beautiful.
Today was C for Strength.
C for Courage, Compassion, Consideration, Confidence and Connectivity.

Shukar. Alhamdulillah.

Amna Shahid — an abstract artist and the Creative Lead for Makeup & Wardrobe at Suno TV — has spent over 11 years in the media industry, surrounded by color, creativity, and people. Through her journey, she has come to deeply understand how art and humanity are beautifully intertwined.

Amna has always believed in real, human love — the kind that connects hearts and heals souls. As she joins our support group, she carries with her memories that are both tender and powerful. She lost two of her dearest friends to cancer. One of them, Amna Qamar, was a breast cancer survivor who bravely fought her battle for ten years before the illness silently returned.

Amna remembers her as a woman of strength and grace — someone who never sought sympathy, only shared courage. But there’s one regret that stays with her — not being able to give her that last hug. It’s a reminder, she says, of how precious every moment of love truly is.

Through her presence at our support group, Amna honors her friends and their journeys. She hopes to remind others to love deeply, to check on those they care for, and to encourage the women around them to prioritize their health — because sometimes, one act of care or one heartfelt hug can mean everything.

We are so looking forward to seeing her tomorrow at the next She Circle : C for Strength!

Dr. Rifqa Awan
General & Breast Surgeon | Activist | Vice President, Young Consultants Association

Dr. Rifqa Awan is a passionate General and Breast Surgeon, social worker, and the Vice President of the Young Consultants Association. A devoted mother of two daughters, she believes it’s time we shatter the taboos around breast cancer — to talk about it openly, raise awareness, and learn about new advancements in its treatment.

She completed her MBBS from Fatima Jinnah Medical College and postgraduate training from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, where she has been serving as a Consultant Surgeon at the Well Women Breast Clinic since its inception in 2009.

Beyond her medical career, Dr. Rifqa has received multiple awards for her humanitarian work and continues to champion women’s health and empowerment — especially through free breast cancer awareness camps and outreach in remote areas.

We’re so happy to have Dr. Rifqa Awan join us at our upcoming She Circle: C for Strength — to inspire us all to embrace awareness, courage, and compassion.

A Chapter That’s Been Quietly Changing Lives: 💛

For years, She Helps has been running without any spotlight — silently supporting countless lives every single month. Whether it’s paying medical bills, covering educational fees, electricity bills, monthly groceries, loan waivers — we’ve stood by those in need.

We call it our miracle journey.

After sending aid through various reliable sources, our Founder Zoya Hamza, accompanied by her 4-year-old son, personally joined hands with Behbud Association Multan accompanied by Tahira Qazi Foundation in the Khaizanpur area, where over 200 flood affectee families were given medical support, ration, clothes, shoes, clean drinking water, bedding — and above all, compassion.

We were welcomed into the home of Mr. Shakeel, a man who opened his heart and his doors — despite losing half his house and having very little himself. He didn’t take a single penny to host the arrangements and the people who had lost everything.

Announcements were made just 2 days prior, yet people walked over 15 km in scorching heat, many hungry and dehydrated — just to collect basic necessities that may not even last a full month.

And this... this is just one small corner of South Punjab. There are still countless unreachable areas, and lacs of people silently enduring.

Our eyes are open. Our hearts are full — with emotions that words can't capture.
We are deeply grateful to Allah for this humbling experience.

Heartfelt gratitude to the tireless souls who made this happen: Mrs. Qaiser Shamim, Mrs. Sarah Hajra Khan, Arfa Qazi, Dania, Malika, and our amazing volunteers — who gave everything they could to help others.

Now stepping into Phase 2 — we are installing water setups, reconstructing homes, and working with Behbud to restore employment opportunities, so families can return to a life of dignity and routine.

If your heart feels moved — DM us to contribute and become part of this journey.
We can’t do it alone — but together, miracles are possible. One family, one area at a time.

The core team behind She Circles — the faces and hearts that pour time, effort, and intention into every session.
Each theme is curated with a bigger purpose in mind.

🌸 These Circles remain intimate, limited to a small number of participants. That’s the beauty of support groups — they’re about support, connection, conversations, and commitments. Each one unique, each one carrying a different topic.
