فاؤنڈیشن نے جناب یاسین جوئیہ، جناب شمریز شاہد، سری لنکا انٹرنیشنل آئی بینک، ڈاکٹر ہڈسن سلوا اور سری لنکا کے عوام کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا۔

آئی ڈونیشن ویلفیئر سوسائٹی کی کوششوں سے اب تک پاکستان میں تقریباً 2 ہزار مستحق مریضوں کی آنکھوں کے شفاف پردے کامیابی سے منتقل کیے جا چکے ہیں، جبکہ مزید 4500 مستحق مریض انتظار کی فہرست میں شامل ہیں۔

The Advisory Board meeting of the Habib Jalib Memorial Foundation was graciously hosted by Sabahat Rafiq Sherwani, featuring a delightful hi-tea and warm hospitality. On Ms. Sabaht Rafiq Sherwani's behalf, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who joined us and contributed their valuable presence.

We also sincerely appreciate Dr. Zulfiqar A. Kazmi (Senior Analyst, International Affairs & President Discover Pakistan), who, despite being unable to attend due to prior commitments, conveyed his full support through a voice message.

The meeting was chaired online by Honorable Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri (Former Foriegn Minister) while Hon. Alderman Mushtaq Lasharie CBE joined online from the UK.

"نقالوں اور بد خصالوں سے ہوشیار رہیں"

"جالب عوامی میلہ" حبیب جالب میموریل فاؤنڈیشن (رجسٹرڈ) کے زیرِ اہتمام 2015 سے الحمرا آرٹس کونسل لاہور میں باقاعدگی سے منعقد کیا جا رہا ہے، اور یہ میلہ صرف اور صرف الحمرا آرٹس کونسل لاہور میں ہی منعقد ہوتا ہے۔

ہر سال کی طرح 2026 میں بھی دسواں جالب عوامی میلہ نہایت شاندار اور باوقار انداز میں فاؤنڈیشن کے معزز بورڈ ممبران، الکبیر ڈویلپر، الائیڈ بینک، الحمرا آرٹس کونسل، پنجاب لائبریری فاؤنڈیشن، گروتھ وینچرز، رضاکاروں اور جالب عوامی میلہ کے دوستوں کے اشتراک سے منعقد کیا گیا۔

اس میلے کا بنیادی مقصد نوجوان نسل کو حبیب جالب کی سوشلسٹ نظام کے لیے جدوجہد، جمہوری اقدار سے وابستگی اور ادبی خدمات سے روشناس کروانا ہے، تاکہ نئی نسل میں شعور، سوال اٹھانے کی جرأت اور سماجی انصاف کی قدروں کو فروغ دیا جا سکے۔
جالب عوامی میلہ کسی سیاسی جماعت، کسی فردِ واحد یا کسی مخصوص طبقے کو فروغ دینے یا مالی فائدہ پہنچانے کے لیے نہیں منایا جاتا، بلکہ یہ اجتماع ہر عام و خاص کو برابر کا مقام دیتا ہے۔ منتظمین ہمیشہ اُن لوگوں کو بھی عزت دیتے ہیں جن کی باری اکثر نہیں آتی۔ انہی لوگوں کی وجہ سے جالب عوامی میلہ واقعی ایک حقیقی عوامی میلہ بن پایا ہے۔ یہ میلہ امن، محبت، برابری اور اختلافِ رائے کے باوقار احترام کے ساتھ ادب و ثقافت کے فروغ کے ذریعے ایک صحت مند معاشرے کی تشکیل کا پیغام دیتا ہے۔

فاؤنڈیشن عوام، میڈیا اور متعلقہ اداروں کو متنبہ کرتی ہے کہ "جالب عوامی میلہ" کے نام پر کسی بھی غیر مصدقہ یا نقلی سرگرمی سے ہوشیار رہیں۔
جالب عوامی میلہ صرف الحمرا آرٹس کونسل لاہور میں، حبیب جالب میموریل فاؤنڈیشن کے زیرِ اہتمام منعقد کیا جاتا ہے۔ کسی بھی دوسری جگہ یا ایک ہی نام "جالب عوامی میلہ"سے ہونے والی سرگرمیوں، ملتے جلتے مکالموں یا کسی سیاسی جماعت/گروہ کے مسلط کردہ ایجنڈے کا جالب عوامی میلہ یا حبیب جالب میموریل فاؤنڈیشن سے کوئی تعلق نہیں۔ جالب کے حقیقی وارث عوام ہیں۔ عوام ایسے بہروپیوں، چندہ پارٹی، پارٹ ٹائم انقلابیوں، بلیک میلروں، جھوٹے مکاروں، گھٹیا و بدکرداروں، ضمیر فروشوں، سستی شہرت کے پجاریوں کا گھیراؤ کریں۔ فاونڈیشن جالب عوامی میلہ سے جڑے لوگوں، محبان جالب کو گمراہ کرنے والوں اور ساکھ کو نقصان پہنچانے والوں کے خلاف قانونی کاروائی چارہ جوئی کا حق بھی محفوظ رکھتی ہے۔
