Health & Nutrition Union - HNU To promote advancement in health and nutrition via unbiased research projects, community development nutrition initiatives and health activism in Pakistan.

The Health & Nutrition Union is a brain child of Saba Gul Hasan, the Founder of a health and wellness company called SGH. Stemming from the passion to unite thinkers and doers from various fields, it catalyzed the need to establish a common ground for professionals and students alike for development discourse, research and community education projects. With transparent, unadulterated information p

ersonifying the true cause of the union, the aims go deeper and redirect all funds generated, to Not-for-profit, CSR projects under the HNU. Our Mission
To promote advancement in health and nutrition via unbiased research projects, community development nutrition initiatives and health activism in Pakistan. Objectives
• To build a community of health care professionals from various health care fields for collaborative work and furthering community education projects.
• To provide a platform for education programs and workshops in support of communal growth and nutrition education.
• To develop tools and resources for Pakistani citizens as a freely available source of health and nutrition.
• To effectively conduct various research studies concerning nutrition and health in Pakistan. HNU “Studio”
The Studio under the health and nutrition union was established in 2017 to encourage collaboration and discourse between health care professionals so as to educate the masses about health and nutrition through workshops, technology and print media. With the onset of many health issues directly affecting the citizens of Pakistan, the studio is a place to learn, share, and find solutions with the help of professional educational efforts and supportive therapy groups.

This course includes 3 live practicals, taught by two teachers over the course of 3 days. A total of 6 hours of coaching will equip the student to make soaps from scratch. Students are required to complete all practicals demonstrated by the teacher either in class or at home. Soaps made by the student will be evaluated on the last day and a certificate awarded accordingly.

Before joining this class, please make sure you purchase the tools mentioned below:

✅Laser thermometer gun.
✅Hand held blender (stick/immersion blender).
✅Digital measuring scale (should measure in grams and kgs)
✅1 litre steel or glass container

Health & Nutrition Union proudly collaborates with .givingnest to enroll 20 girls from the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, Lahore in our Soap Making Masters Program.

Taught by Saba Gul Hasan, she aims to impart valuable knowledge on how to make cold-process soap, where to purchase local ingredients, and creative ways to package it. At the end of the course, each child will know how to make soap from scratch, market, and sell their soaps. She will be their lifetime mentor, offering after-course support and further training to enhance their skills.

The fee per child is: 18500 PKR (includes training, soap-making supplies, tools, syllabus, and certificate)
