In 2010, a few educated, privileged and kind hearted youngsters felt pain to feel the worst and miserable plight of the poor and decided to establish AJAR Foundation. AJAR Foundation is a non-governmental organization, working for the noble cause of reduction in poverty coupled with other objectives like providing opportunities to every individual to enhance his/her economical and social status by
sharing equal level of employment opportunities. Its core objective is to reduce scarcity by helping the community from within the community. The only key to end extreme poverty is to enable the poor to get their foot on to the ladder of development. The ladder of development hovers overhead and the pitiable are stuck beneath it. They lack the minimum amount of capital necessary to get a foothold, earn bread and butter, to attain essential education in this era of total social destruction and economic devastation, the underprivileged need demands a quick boost up as the first step. It would be nice if the deprived were to get even half of the money that is spent in advertising them and a quarter of education that is applied in studying them. Society comprises of two classes, those who have more food than appetite, and those who have more appetite than food. AJAR Foundation is determined to let the less fortune to get the basic necessities of life and to gain an enhanced lifestyle.
