IFMA Statement on Global Solidarity

The International Federation of Muaythai Associations reaffirms its commitment to solidarity, unity and the fundamental values of the global sporting community during a period of complex international challenges.

Across regions, communities continue to navigate uncertainty and change. Within the Muaythai family, athletes, coaches, officials and national federations remain dedicated to sport as a platform for stability, opportunity and constructive engagement.

Muaythai is grounded in the principles of respect, honour, humility, discipline and unity. These values are fully aligned with the ideals of the Olympic Movement, namely friendship, excellence and respect. They underscore the role of sport as a universal language that brings people together across cultures, traditions and perspectives.

As a responsible international federation, IFMA remains committed to inclusion, dialogue and cooperation. Sport provides a space where individuals can meet in mutual respect, where diversity is embraced, and where shared rules foster understanding and trust.

The youth of our movement consistently demonstrate that sport can inspire ambition, dignity and hope. Through training, competition and friendship, they show that positive engagement across borders is both possible and powerful.

In times of global complexity, sport must continue to serve as a bridge. It must remain a space where shared values prevail and where unity is strengthened through fair play and mutual respect.

IFMA will continue to work alongside its members and partners to promote the unifying power of Muaythai worldwide.

One World. One Muaythai.
