Good News for the Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department
A significant wildlife development has been recorded in Toba Tharo Lal, an area of Yazman, in the district of Rahim Yar Khan. A large number of Eurasian Griffon Vulture were observed in the area two Week's ago.
The Eurasian Griffon Vulture is a protected bird under the Third Schedule (Protected Animals) of Punjab Wildlife legislation. This remarkable sighting has attracted the attention of wildlife specialists and zoologists, who regard it as an encouraging sign for biodiversity conservation and ecosystem health in southern Punjab.
The presence of these vultures may indicate suitable habitat conditions and the availability of natural food resources in the region. As vital scavengers, vultures play an essential ecological role by removing animal carcasses, limiting the spread of diseases, and maintaining environmental balance.
This observation represents a positive development for wildlife conservation efforts and highlights the importance of continued habitat protection and monitoring in the region.

قید سے رہائی... یا موت کا پروانہ؟"

جب قید میں پلے ہوئے پرندوں یا جانوروں کو صرف "نیکی" سمجھ کر آزاد کیا جاتا ہے، تو اکثر وہ اُڑنے سے پہلے ہی گر پڑتے ہیں، جینے سے پہلے ہی مر جاتے ہیں۔

نہ شکار کا طریقہ آتا ہے، نہ خطرے سے بچنا، نہ پیاس برداشت کرنا، نہ زندگی کے سخت اصولوں سے لڑنا۔

وہ نیک نیتی سے دی گئی رہائی، ان کے لیے دردناک، تنہا، اور سست موت بن جاتی ہے۔ یہ نیکی نہیں — لاعلمی کی قیمت ہے جو ایک جان سے ادا ہوتی ہے۔
