White Ribbon Pakistan

White Ribbon Pakistan White Ribbon is a Pledge, never to commit, never to excuse and never to remain silent about violence against women!

White Ribbon Campaign Pakistan (WRCP) was initiated with the meaningful objective of involving men to reduce violation of women’s rights. ‘Justice can be provided by those who do injustice because they have the power to do both,’ serves as the base of the campaign. It, therefore, works with men as its stakeholders and believes that men, even in instances where they are not part of the problem, can

bring forth the solution. White Ribbon believes in Jinnah’s ideology of raising the status of women according to Islamic ideals and standards. Plus, Iqbal’s philosophy that women’s rights are human rights is the driving force behind the campaign.

These figures represent more than just data; they reflect a pressing reality that demands immediate collective action, stronger policy enforcement, and community support. Ending violence against women requires all of us men, women, and institutions to take a stand, support survivors, and advocate for safety and justice in every home and workplace.

Silence fuels violence. Speak up, report abuse, and let’s work together toward a safer Pakistan.

Call to Action: If you or someone you know is facing violence, do not stay silent. Reach out to local support helplines and reporting channels today.

Behind closed doors, too many people suffer in silence. But violence thrives where silence lives.

By raising our voices and standing together, we can break the ribbon of control and offer strength to those who need it most. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, please know that help is available and you are not alone.

Raise your voice. End the silence.

The misuse of AI

While the content may be fake, the harm to a person's dignity, reputation, and well-being is real. Consent and respect matters online too.

When we stay silent, injustice becomes the norm. Silence doesn't protect, it standardizes harm and allows violence and abuse to continue unchecked.

Real change starts the moment we choose to speak up. It begins when we take a stand, support survivors, and demand accountability.

Break the silence. Speak out against violence.

Pakistan is moving to finalize a long-awaited national policy aimed at preventing violence against women and girls, the law ministry said on Monday after a meeting between Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar and a senior UN Women official.

The draft National Policy on Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG), developed with technical support from UN Women, seeks to create a nationwide framework to strengthen prevention, protection and response mechanisms for gender-based violence.

Every action you take on campus has an impact. Who will you choose to be?

As we walk through campus, we all fall into certain roles. It’s easy to think our small choices, like staying quiet when we see someone being harassed, or laughing at a "harmless" joke, don’t matter. But they do. Every action (or inaction) either challenges harmful behavior or reinforces it.

Let's break down the roles we often play, especially as men on campus, and the power we have to choose differently.

One of the hardest truths to accept is that abuse doesn't only happen in romantic partnerships. It can also come from parents, siblings, extended family, or anyone who uses fear, guilt, control, and manipulation to maintain power.

When the people who are supposed to protect you are the ones causing you pain, it creates a unique kind of confusion and grief. But your peace, safety, and mental health will always be more important than maintaining a toxic dynamic just because of "family ties."

You are allowed to set boundaries. You are allowed to walk away. 🤍
