Umeed E Sehar Mission
Umeed E Sehar is a non-political and non-profit welfare organization started its functioning in December 2017 by some professionals and students in Lahore. It is run by a team of highly motivated intellectual and social workers comprising of doctors, engineers, lawyers, business executives and students from various fields of life. We are providing educational, health and community services. Initially, our main objective is to give financial support to students from different universities in Lahore. All the funding activities are conducted by students and Non-professionals with a belief that sharing is caring and one penny can also make big difference for making vast river of charity. We strongly believe that happiness don’t come with what we have but its comes with what we can give to others. Our team has solved four cases of fee payment of students from University of the Punjab, Gujrat and Sargodha respectively. Then, also solved two medical cases of needy ones. Our team of trainers also organized different motivational and personality grooming sessions at Fri Chicks with almost strength of 50 students. Our dedicated team also celebrated Labor day with labors and distributed cash among labors too and served them with cold beverages. Recently, our welfare wing conducted successful distribution of rashon packages to almost twenty needy families in Lahore in Holy month of Ramzan. In January 2019, Umeedians realized that society as a whole fails to realize that money spent on weddings would better invested in improving living standards, healthy and overall well-being of family. An often ignored reality that has plagued and paralyzed our Pakistani Society is the nightmare of finances spent on marriages. So, we started massive campaign on Facebook and Twitter with hashtag #ShadiWithSadgi countrywide. We also organized introductory session on #ShadiWithSadgi to spread the awareness of low cost marriages at Maktab,Lahore. Marriage is our country is an occasion for insane display of spending outrageously on lavish wedding functions, jewelry, cloths, expensive gifts, dowry and fireworks etc. Upper class is enjoying all kinds of perks related to marriage but middle and poor class is getting suppressed under this pressure and show off. Everyone is talking about it but no one comes forward to end this curse and plague. Now, we are determined to fought a war against this, thus announced services of matrimonial matches and offering free services to orphans. With announcement of matrimonial services, our page reach increasing rapidly and got tremendous support and prayers from our followers. We are committed to change our tomorrow for betterment of society.
